Anime/Manga Watched/Read: Bleach, Psyren, Bakuman- my current obsessions. Here are my favorite characters.

Characters:

Inoue Orihime: My all-time favorite. Her character depth is amazing, and she's the most realistic Bleach character of all of them, despite the fact that she's got fairies.

Matsuri-Sensei: She is scarily like me, except for hair.

Fukuda-San: We'll see more of him.

Pairings: Bleach

IchiHime: Is the only pairing I currently believe will happen, like, and take notice of. And believe me, I've learned to look at canon evidence when seeking a pairing, as well as good characters and an interesting dynamic.

I like AiHime, UlquiHime, GrimmHime, IchiTatsu, RenRuki, and ByakuRuki just for the dynamics.

In Orihime's defense: A common misconception is that she is weak. No, she is strong enough- her power can defy god's realm, according to Aizen. She's just too kind to have the will to fight or hurt anyone. She is not obsessed with Ichigo, she is in love with him. There is a difference. She is not, "in the way of ichiruki's true love!!" where there is only a platonic friendship. She is also very realistic in terms of her emotions and decisions. Don't dislike characters because they're better than you.

I am a Rukia fan, just not an IchiRuki fan. Since Kubo Tite already stated in an interview that their relationship, not romantic, is best described as "precious nakama". Comparing panel sizes and eye contact doesn't make canon as compared to what the creator says. I also think that Rukia's relationship with Ichigo deserves more credit in the platonic department- a girl and a boy can be best friends. Their relationship is really deep and their bond is pretty special, however, that doesn't mean it's romantic. She is not your self-insert to get the guy from the pretty, big-boobed girl.

I'm sad that there isn't a section for Psyren.
