Hi All! I'm actually AliyahNCIS in another fandom, but recently (for the past several months) God has just been pouring inspiration into me for writing Lord Of The Rings fiction so I thought I should have a different account to keep my new work separate - hence ME (Middle-earth) Love Stories. Several years ago I did a couple short pieces and never expected anything else to come from it. Then, surprise! Randomly I had inspiration for another one-shot based on the previous ones I did. I thought that was a little strange so I just wrote it down and left it in a notebook. But somewhere around February this year I re-fell in love with the LOTR movies and began reading a lot of LOTR FF (along the way discovering some absolutely fabulous stories and incredibly talented authors on this section of the site). The rest, as they say, is history.

I was really excited to receive inspiration for a series of Aragorn and Arwen one-shots, as well as a bit more in depth Faramir and Eowyn story. I even dabbled with Eomer and Lothiriel a bit, which I hadn't intended until I started reading FF for them as well. I rather assumed that would be all of it until I watched the entire Hobbit trilogy for the first time (I'd seen the first when it came out but none of the others). At first I didn't like Tauriel simply because I knew she wasn't supposed to be there. But when I watched the trilogy for the second time I fell in love with her and Kili and lately stories for them have just been flowing from my heart as well, which is surprising but also something I'm very grateful for because writing is such a gift for me and I just love it. lol...it's almost funny, just when I think I know what I like to write (I've been on the NCIS side for almost 10 years writing for most of the major couples on the show and currently one of my series is on hold because of all this), God does something cool and totally unexpected and I get this incredible gift that I hope you guys won't mind if I share with you.

I'm going to start slow, I only have a couple one-shots that are ready to be posted, the others are still very much works in progress, but I'll try to be really specific about labeling where they belong in the head-canon I've created for all my favourite couples. I really hope you enjoy the stories, I've gotten so much joy out of writing them. And if you made it this far through my profile, thanks for reading!

Also the most important thing I can tell you about myself (thirty-something bookworm who loves writing is just the superficial stuff) is that I love Jesus. Anything good in me is because of Him and what He did for me, for all of us, by dying on the cross for everything wrong we ever did or will do and rising again to bring us freedom from judgement. I'm doing my best to follow Him - some days I think I do okay and some days I know I completely mess it up. Jesus is my greatest best friend. I have a wonderful best friend here on earth, but as much as I love her nothing compares with knowing Jesus, always having someone who loves you no matter how much you screw up, who is willing to give grace for your mistakes and unlimited chances and get up and try again, someone who is always with me so even when I feel lonely I know I'm never truly alone. But I don't want to get all preachy, I just wanted to put out there what I value the most :)
