I woke up and opened my ruby red eyes to find myself in a garden. It was all so beautiful, flowers of all sorts of colours and many beautiful birds singing. That was until I looked around myself. The area where I had been laying was black and dead. All colour had vanished from the area surrounding me. The wind blew softly pushing my black hair behind me. I stood up adjusting my red and black dress. When I was done I looked behind me to find a crowd of onlookers. I glared sharply and noticed none of the humans had faces. They were all bland and average. “Beat it!” I hissed at them moving out of my dark, dead patch of grass. Instantly they all ran off or continued with their routines.

A load voice boomed in my head. “Eris make your way towards the grand hall.” It ordered me. I ignored it and moved out of the light, I wasn’t used to so much light. I shuffled around some halls and up some stairs. Every turn I made a wave of silence washed over the onlookers. A light had surrounded me and before I could do anything I was in a large room. above a set of stairs was a man with blond hair holding a staff. Hanging from the ceiling was a giant clear ball filled with a small amount of blue liquid. “Eris the Goddess of chaos.” He spoke averting my attention from the ball to him. after carefully looking he had golden eyes that matches his blond locks. “I called you here to learn about humans.” He continued, his voice booming across the room. I glared at him as he spoke down to me. “Why is it just me? Of all the gods you chose to torment me.” I spat at him, anger clearly showing in my voice. I crossed my arms and looked at him. Almost daring him to continue speaking. He ignored me and continued. “It isn’t just you. You are only arriving halfway through the year, others have been here longer.” He stood tapping his staff to the ground. This resulted in lightning to fire at the ground creating 9 bright lights.

Seconds later 9 people where appeared where the light had been before. I looked around and saw a few familiar faces. in the centre of the room however was a girl with purple hair tied back. She was different but I couldn’t put my finger on it. ‘Wait?… Is that. No way a human girl is here.’ I mentally screamed. ‘Not a human they are so annoying… They are easy to mess with however.’ I thought a a smirk played on my lips. A load and familiar voice broke my train of thought. “Eris is here yay.” I turned around and saw my biggest nightmare. “Apollon!” I yelled as I saw him. Me and Apollon are technically related, we just have different mothers. “I won’t be staying here and definitely not with a human. I said glaring at at the girl ahead of me. She seemed pretty scared of me from what I had just said.

I took a step forward and as my foot touched the ground a wave of darkness covered the floor. The once beautiful red carpet was not completely black and decaying. A chorus of gasps flooded my ears forcing me to look down. “You don’t have a choice Eris your here until you learn the human heart.” Zeus said creating a silver earring that covered the shell of my ear. I brought my hand up to my ear and touched the cool silver. I took a step forward and tried to call forth powers of destruction towards zeus. “What?” I said after nothing happened. A small black ball of energy came from my hands but not before it disappeared. “As long as I learn I can leave, correct.” I said crossing my arms at zeus. “Yes.” I thought about it and new he would probably make me stay longer if I didn’t agree. “Well then i’ll see you all in class.” I said moving my way to the door. I gently placed my hand on the door and instantly the wood became black and rotting. I smirked to myself before pushing the door open.
