Hello fellow lovers of literature and the written word, and welcome to my have of language and story.

My name is Rachel. As i type, this, i am 16, but i dont know if that is a the age i ought to give, as i will begin the 17th year of my life in a span of time most easliy countable by hour.

I am a drak soul. I deal in the darkest recesses of the literary world. Vampires, murder, betrayel, and blood are never far from the surface in my writing, and i love to explore the deepest, most hidden and shunned parts of the human soul. Dragons and witches, magic and enchantments, creatures of light and darkness are never too far away. It is within this world of fantasies that our true hearts can be seen without the cloudy film of reality to distort truth an honesty. I doubt very much that i will ever write two fan fics or stories for the same character so i neednt tell know what i shall write about, although this should give you some idea. Here is an original poem to welcome you to the domain i intend to create here. Remeber, as long as you have the heart and soul of a writer, their is no part of life too small to notice, no depth of emotion to trivial to learn, and no force in the universe as strong as your dreams.

Welcome o beings of darness and light

that bask in the sunlight and slink in the night

Surrender your fear for what you might see

For within these walls there is naught that can't be

It takes only time and it gives only dreams

Unravel inhibitions from inside the seams

Here is a place where my heart can reside

My thoughts can flow freely and not need to hide

And may it inspire you to do the same

As long as you're here, may you be glad you came

Keep on thought in mind, and one dream at heart

That you souls and yourself be never apart.

I dont yet know what will fill theses pages, as, at 4:00 in the morning i sit, laptop appropriatley in my lap, and write this welcome for you. I dont know who you are or what you think. I care about your thoughts, for anything that may change my perspective on the world is welcomed by my mind, but know that it will not change who i am,. I will not allow it. And may you take this note and do the same.

If you are here to read, to write, or just to be inspired, then we are now connected. we are connected by a love of a world that we ourselves create in the deepest, darkest, and most frightening parts of our minds. Other people may fear these parts, but we, the literary few, embrace them.

One thing i need you to know before you begin to enter my realm, I am a firm believer and ardent lover of happy endings. My happy ending may not coincide with yours, but in my mind, i resolve what can be resolved. A true tale should always leaver the reader and writer alike with a sense of closure.

I know what you are thinking at this point. Its probably something along the lines of "God, is this girl long-winded. Pedantic and very, very long-winded." Well, the wind has subsided and i will hold you here no longer. Please feel free to email me about anything you see here, or about any story i may post. Your words are welcomed and eagerly awaited.
