Details! Details! Details!-They describe a vivid image in your reader's head, but too many will bore them to another Fanfiction

Stupid Cliffhanger's- They always bug the crap out of you when you read them, but if you write one, it guarantees that a reader will come back because they can't stand not knowing what happens next.

Upda~ate!- You ever get annoyed at people who never update? Well one way to help not be like that is set deadlines for yourself. I have a couple stories, but one way for me to keep them going is I wait until I'm prepared to update within two-day intervals of a pair of them.

My Stupid Computer Deleted It All!/I Don't Remember What I Wrote Before!- To minimize these problems I write most of my stories in a notebook to begin with, then type them on the computer, then update, that way if I lose all the data I typed, I won't have to male all up from scratch and lose whatever cool idea I had. When I transfer my stories from notebook to computer is when I usually catch all of my errors or decide to add something new.

ZZZZZZZ...- Try not to stay up all night typing, unless you are wide awake. If you're tired, you'll make all kinds of mistakes that you won't catch until you publish and reread, or even more embarrassing, somebody points it out.

They're Having Sex?! This Was Only Rated T!- Properly rate you're stories. They are like movies. M is for smex and the eff word. T is for mild nudity and below the eff word. K+ and K and G and PG. If you believe you're level of violence is in between, then warn the readers.

This Is Bleach! What the Crap is Spoc Doing There?!- Warn readers that your story is a crossover if it is not categorized as it.

Who The Smoof Is Shadow?- Warn readers of OCs. They'll think they missed something important if you gave the main character a girlfriend that they never heard of in the book, show, movie etc.
