Pairings of the Moment: Conrad/Yuuri (Kyou Kara Maou – I’m borrowing both the first and second seasons from a friend and watching them. I just can’t abide Yuuri/Wolfram or Wolfram/Yuuri because to me they’re both too much the submissive type to conduct any manly nookie together. And, as Yuuri himself says, Conrad is perfect.) and Spock/Kirk (Since I saw the glorious movie that is Star Trek XI – I've been to see it three times now – I’ve been stuck on this. I'm smitten with the cast and concept and how well it was done, how well it was pieced together, it was just the right mix. The tensions and allusions and connections are just wonderful! I never really considered myself a Trekkie before this movie but when I saw it I became aware of just how much I did know about the original Star Trek oddly enough because my inner dork was raging until I picked up on what was going on. And the cast! They really do resemble their former counterparts quite well if not in looks then in mannerisms and attitudes and portrayals. I would love to see a sequel with the same cast! -Sigh!- I’m in love!)

My Redux project has really been my one constant focus but I’ve also decided to branch out a bit. So far I've written a bit of Kyou Kara Maou, Star Trek XI, Full Metal Panic and an update for Touka Kouka wa Uso Desu. Aside from these, I’ve also been working with a few original concepts that have been rattling around in my brain, refurbishing some that I’d made previous attempts to write while hashing out details on some new ones as well. It’ll be a busy summer for me and hopeful I’ll live up to my readers expectations - supposing I still have any.

So, let me just say to anyone who cares, I’M SO SORRY FOR NOT UPDATING!! I don’t want to make excuses but I’ve been in the middle of a pretty tumultuous time in my life and, suffice it to say, I’ve not been able to focus my attention properly on updating my work here… or anywhere else, really. At any rate, I’ve found time to yet again lurk about here and leave a sprinkle of comments there but as of yet, no updates. I plan to upload a few things within the next few weeks but we’ll see how that goes. I don't want to promise anything and disappoint anyone.

Some of you may have noticed I removed some of my stories... They were all older pieces that when I looked upon them again I had to force down the urge to vomit. I'm so happy to know I've matured and grown as a writer since then but I can't stand the idea of leaving those steaming piles of excrement out in the open for others to see any longer. Thus, I've torn them down from here and refuse point blank to repost them, at least not without first doing some serious re-workings which isn't likely to happen any time soon.
