I am AKmunk12… And the AK stands for Alaska… NOT Arkansas… I am a Chipmunk fan and a recreational writer. I do attempt to have a life so sometimes I might not be as fast with the updates and stories as I would like.

RECENT NEWS: (3/9/13)

Hello Everyone! Sometimes life doesn't go right... but it's still good.

MY STORIES:

1. Through the Dark: This is my first story. I put a lot of work into this. Love the way it turned out. PERSONAL FAVORITE.

Status: Story Complete… pending epilogue chapter (wrote two chapters but neither good enough…. Waiting for time/inspiration.

2. And PS If This Is Brittany: A short story based off of a song I liked. I like the way it turned out. (PERSONAL 'SHORT' FAVORITE)

Status: Complete

3. Players: To Play or Not To Play: A story that popped into my head that I wanted to get out… I have no idea where this story is going. Mainly wanted to write a story where the Chipmunks and Chippettes meet when they are their own separate bands and don’t hate each other.

Status: Complete

4. Peanut Butter and Jelly: Another short story based off of a song that I heard. Instantly thought of this story when I heard this song for the first time.

MY LIFE IN A PARAGRAPH: (Bla, bla, bla, bla, bla...)

Born in Alaska, Raised in Montana, Spent some time in miserable Missouri, and am back up to Alaska, where I belong!

I grew up loving the movie Balto (see his statues up here often). Really Identified with the half-breed castaway. Especially when I moved to Missouri and was that kid that grew up "in the middle of nowhere" who didn't fit in with all the others. I used to write a lot of stories, some about Balto. Until my computer crashed and lost them all (ALWAYS BACK UP YOUR FILES!!!)

The computer crash took away a lot of my heart for writing stories (rather rewriting hundreds of hours of work)... Until I met AATC (Alvin and the Chipmunks). Never watched the show when I was younger (though I wanted to... but living 30 miles from the nearest town and 15 miles from the nearest kid my age really restricted our entertainment options) Now am a huge fan. Still trying to find the seasons to buy (digital) but having difficulty.

WHY AM I HERE?

I realize I'm not the best writer. So what do I have to offer? I am here to enjoy the stories of others who are on here and to give where I can. I also have some stories (daydreams) that I have to put down on paper to get out of my head. Hopefully you enjoy them. Reviews and Constructive criticism are welcome... even a flame or two (please try to be well-founded). Feel free to PM about any of my stories or if you ever want help on any.
