I was late to the Harry Potter fandom. I read the first three books when I was young and I saw the movies with friends as they came out, but just wasn't that into any of it. Until Half-blood Prince happened. I was so surprised by the turn of events and so impressed with Tom Felton's performance that I had to finally read the book series in full. I had to know as much as possible about that heartbreaking character, Draco Malfoy.

I've since read the series multiple times and eventually made my way to fan fiction so I could read redeeming Draco stories. Dramione works well for that, though I often find myself wishing there were more stories focused on Draco's point of view instead of Hermione's. So now I'm writing one. I expect it to take me a while to finish, though more reviews would help keep me motivated. :)

One last note: though I adore Tom and Emma, I deeply hope readers will try to avoid picturing them as they read my story. Because of the time restraints in movies, the film versions of Draco and Hermione already seem significantly different to me than the multi-faceted characters in the books. I expect picturing Tom and Emma would only further separate readers from the story I'm trying to tell. Instead, please consider the cover image of my story.
