After the Avatar Korra saved Republic City once again, she and Asami left for the Spirit World, leaving the United republic to decide the fates of Kuvira and the Earth Empire. Having been sentenced to prison, Kuvira finds that she's not only a prisoner of the world, but also of her mind.
