Welcome to the fanfiction page of Rach and Abby. We are two extremely loyal Adlock fans looking to explore the complex relationship between the masked characters that are Sherlock Holmes and Irene Adler, based on the Sherlock BBC series. We are avid writers and look forward to sharing our work with the Adlock community. We welcome suggestions and prompts--just don’t be boring.

Hey, I’m Rach, I always embody Irene in our Novella’s. I love being Irene in these because I think she is such an amazing character, I love the way that she is usually emotionally detached from things, yet Sherlock is the one and that can cut through her harsh exterior. I also love how confident she is with her body, I think this sends out a great message to people that no matter what your body type is, you should love it and you can still be astronomically sexy. I myself have the same body type as Irene/Lara and I hated it until I saw a Scandal in Belgravia, now I love it. I often wonder what has happened in Irenes past to make her the way she is, and I’m always looking for opportunities to explore this within our work. How must she have been treated to completely disregard any emotion other than lust, hate or anger? And why is she willing, albeit reluctantly, to go against all of this for Sherlock?

Hello there. I’m Abby and I take on the role of Sherlock in our many novella’s. I’m attracted to the role of Sherlock because I think there is something terrifyingly human about his imprisoned heart. He proves that being intelligent, witty, and clever is ultimately easy, however, feeling is not. Much like to many of us love is a mystery, as it is with him and I am enjoying the discovery, through him, that it is not as far off as we, or he, may think. As we all know Sherlock is an incredibly great man, through Irene, however, I aim to also make him a good one.

We write so much at any given time that we often forget to update our stories, so if you have a request for one of our incomplete stories to be updated then just drop us a PM and we'll get right onto it :)
