However, I've started a poll to either rewrite the series to update my writing style, or do a full reboot of the series that will implement a few fan theories about the canonicity of the original games, the TLoS trilogy, and Skylanders all being in the same canon universe. If the poll says to do a reboot, I will remove the original version from FFN, but will still be available on my DeviantArt account. 6/21/2013 - 8/9/2013 I will be taking an extended vacation in New York. I will also be taking part in my grandmother's funeral. 6/6/2013 I am posting this a couple weeks after I heard the news. But my grandmother died recently. She was injured in a car accident and died in the hospital. I will be going back to New York for a previously planned visit. But it will be extended so I can attend my grandmother's funeral. I will be leaving on 6/21. I am unsure of when the funeral is exactly. But I most likely will be in New York for about a month. 4/24/2013 I will posting updates to my stories from now on in a different way. Instead of posting a chapter once it's finished, I have decided to only post my stories once I have finished work on the entire story itself. This will allow me to focus less on trying to update my stories and more on actually working on the story itself. 1/16/2013 I recently started on another project (as if I don't have enough as it is). I started on a story called Children of the Moon. Although it's a new project for me, the story line in general does technically already exist. It is inspired by a group of pictures on FurAffinity.com by the user M-P-L. I have gotten permission to turn his pics into a full, multi-chapter fanfic. If you are familiar with the fanfic 'Past Sins', then you're familiar with the character, Nyx. Children of the Moon loosely takes place in the same universe as Past Sins. So Nyx will be a character. I will be putting several of my older stories that I haven't finished on hiatus for the sake of rewriting them. Since they are older, they don't match my current writing abilities. And I want them to match up with my current writing level and style. My 1st rewrite project will be the Rise of Darkness series. Even though the RoD series is only on part 2 at the moment, it brings me to another topic. I don't want to post a story until I've finished the story. I'm still deciding how that will work with series'. And it will mean that you will have to wait longer for new stories to come out. But I will try to make it worth it. Since Darkness in the World of Dragons is my first rewrite project, it will be the first to be (for lack of a better term) upgraded. I've already finished the Prologue. For the Prologue, I managed to turn 3 paragraphs into 2 pages. There will be a few modifications to the story.
