It was well known to the company that Kíli and Fíli were mischievous little terrors as dwarf children. Sitting around various campfires on the way to reclaim Erebor, the pair's youthful adventures and scrapes are exposed to the group, including broken bones, earthquakes, dwarf pox and plenty of h/c. Kíli/Fíli with protective!Thorin and the rest of the dwarves thrown in for fun.

AU — When he opens his eyes again, he finds himself in his old bed in his old home in his old body. Is this death? Or a trick of magic? Either way, Bilbo recognizes a second chance when he sees one, and this time his adventure with Thorin is going to go a bit differently.

The battle for Erebor is over and the Dwarven Exiles are returning home to rebuild their kingdom, best that they know how with all the changes the road heaped on them. All is not well and strife and contention still are abound, and in the north an ancient dark power whispers in the deeps. Rated M for violence, just to be safe

They were both very small the first time they heard about hobbits. Fili, of course, saw it as an opportunity for mischief. So when his little brother asked him, face alight with curiosity, what a hobbit was, there was absolutely no hesitation.

The mountain was colder than Kili had thought it would be.

Kili survived the battle of the five armies, thought he lost his home again. Decades later a grim dwarven warrior comes across a man searching for Imladris. Thus begins a journey across the lone lands that will lead into war. Rated M for violence, just to be safe.

Bofur finds Bilbo on Ravenhill after the Battle of the Five Armies and brings him back to the Company. Bilbo does not like what he finds upon his return. Slight AU for the end of the book. Character death. Spoilers for the novel. No slash.

Fili dies with his brother at his side. Bofur has hope. Dwalin wishes he could take Kili's place. (Rated T for violence.)
