Katniss Everdeen and Gale Hawthorne have been in a relationship for two years. But Katniss wasn't happy - Gale abused her. When her mother finds out, she kicks her out of the house. The only place Katniss finds refuge is a 24 hour diner called Mellark's, owned by Peeta Mellark. When Peeta lets Katniss move into his home, she realizes she can begin again. AU/OOC/Modern
