I realized that my profile said nothing about me and rather outlined what I'm working on and writing updates. Well now that it looks like I won't be breezing in for a quick update every now and then, I figured that I should probably write something personal here. Obviously R. M. Jackson is really formal, as it is just a pen name. I go by Reggie in most instances because that's who I am. R. M. Jackson is just my writing alter ego. In real life, I drink a lot of coffee, obsess over the Red Sox, Iron Man, and makeup. My laptop's name is Jarvis and he usually sleeps with me on my nightstand on top of a pile of Iron Man comic books.

Gilmore Girls has always been my main television obsession and my first real push into the world of fanfiction. I stopped updating for some time because I was more interested in my own characters and plots. I think that's why the majority of my stories here are alternate universe. I like creating. It's what I do. I am back to a simple rotation with my three in progress Gilmore Girls stories. I have more in store for you. With Diamonds and Rust coming to a close, the sequel is being written. Somewhere Over the Sun and Meetings In a Subway Car are also ending soon. I'm hoping to post a couple new stories in the new future, along with a couple of one-shots and collections of deleted scenes/things that never happened from my main fics.

I'm a spunky, overexcited writer. Sometimes when I drink too much coffee or alcohol I get more excited than usual. Visit me on my tumblr, where my personalities more or less merge. UPDATE: April 8, 2011

I realize I haven't updated in quite some time. Part of that was the death in the family, the other part having my hard drive replaced because my logic board failed. Nothing pertaining to any story was backed up that I can find, and I am searching through notebooks to find Diamond Dust character sketches. Please bear with me. I will try getting things together soon!

UPDATE: April 9, 2011

I found a flash drive that had some Diamond Dust outlining and my Sully character sketch on it. Unfortunately, I lost the entire last chapter that I had written in Diamond Dust. I know I had written some of that down, so I'm hoping that I can start recreating the chapter. I really need to start backing stuff up if I'm not going to post it. As soon as I get that done, I'll be back to updating. Thanks for sticking with me.
