After last year's debauched alcoholic fiasco, John has decided to host Christmas at 221B. He's taken precautions...mainly Lestrade, hiding his gun, and getting rid of ALL copies of Cludeo. But this year Sherlock's got a secret in his bedroom, and he's really not been that happy about Mycroft being invited. Sequel to "Christmas, Chandeliers, and Cellars at Mycroft's".

It all starts because Sherlock can't sleep. Let's take a walk through some private moments and some tales from the despatch box. Mostly John & Sherlock. But also Mycroft, Ghosts, Dreams and New Characters.

Sherlock and John are spending December at Mycroft's for reasons that no one knows (or at least, that no one is willing to admit). Sherlock gets in touch with his inner child, John locks himself away in his room on mysterious business, and Mycroft defends his cellar from his little brother's attempts to drink its contents before Christmas. Mycroft Holmes has become rather too accustomed to not sleeping, not eating and constantly worrying about his little brother. He's also rather used to lying. Most people can't tell when he's being untruthful, but then again, DI Lestrade isn't most people.

Mycroft Holmes had never particularly wanted a brother. Yet he never once wished he did not have one. A few snippets of the Holmes boys and their relationship as they grow up.

"Hey, thought you were dead, instead you're crazy! But you're my brother. So come home Loki!" Tony Stark witnesses something he would rather not have. Something musical.

Mycroft has always protected his younger brother, but there are some things he just can't control. Sherlock's relationship with John Watson is one of them. Set during the first two seasons of Sherlock, with all the spoilers that would entail.

Once a year, on the anniversary of his father's death, Sherlock takes out the file on his father. Mycroft does not approve, though perhaps not for the reasons Sherlock would think.
