I started running the Wizards of the coast published adventure H1 Keep on the Shadowfell about three years ago for some members of my family. As we approached the end of H1 my brother in law Tim expressed an interest in running a game himself. After being Dungeon Master for a couple of encounters Tim demonstrated himself to have a much more comprehensive understanding of the rules of D&D 4E than I will ever have.

Before long Tim was writing his own adventures and blogging about them. Not to put too fine a point on it I decided to copy him and so my own blog Hogar's Journal was born. The surviving pages of Hogar's Journal begin just before Hogar and his companions met up with the heroes of the Keep on the Shadowfell and then run in chronological order, through a home-brew adventure written by Tim and into H2 Thunderspire Labyrinth.

After stumbling upon this superb site I decided that it might be just the place to get some more feedback on the journal so here I am!
