I’ve been writing (both original work and fanfiction) for years, but I couldn’t be bothered to post anything until recently. I love literature, movies, etc…which is one reason why I’m on this site. I’m an English major, and because I’m kind of a dork, I actually prefer analytical writing to fiction. However, I like to keep my writing skills in shape with fanfiction. My tastes are kind of eclectic, and some of the books and movies I enjoy aren't as well known, so don't be surprised if I decide to post something really obscure. In general, though, I'm most interested in 19th century literature, and that is what I delve into most frequently. I don't find it very easy to swim in an out of different authors' styles, though, so my work usually has a very different rhythm from the original, but I like to think that I am fairly consistent in terms of theme, characterization, etc.
