![]() Author has written 3 stories for Marching Band, and Newsies. Hey! I've needed a place like fanfic.net for years, but only recently found it. I'm always writing, so this might get a little messy at times. Sorry! I'm not as fluffy as Meg Cabot (though I love her) but I think I'm more of a Heather Hepler. I dunno, we'll see. I'm a self-proclaimed word nerd who loves to pick apart words to look at their underlying base language and/or meaning. This is the result of five years of French, so if I get hung up on a word, that's just me. Names will probably be this way, too. I adore behindthename.com. If you're currently reading Coming Home, this is pretty obvious. I totally wanted to make her Austrian originally, but don't know any German and refuse to rely on web translators. I like her even better now that she's French, I think. So there's a fun fact! I'll probably give you some of the book I'm working on for NaNoWriMo, lots of drabbles, some Newsies stuff, just because I love it. I'd like to think that I'm read best with a hot cup of tea and some soft background music. Wait, maybe that's how I like to read... I am currently working on a Racetrack fic, which is proving really difficult to write. I've had the idea in my head for a while, but is proving tricky. Yay for awesome beta-ers! I also want to let you all know that I don't just go ahead and write. I went outto Half-Price and bought a few books on Ellis Island, immigrants, and the Victorian era for this fic. This is partly because I like to be accrate and partly because I'm a history lover. Either way, if I've got them doing it, chances are it actually would've happened. And I don't mind if you tell me I'm out of lne on that. Let me know if I've done something stupid. ALSO - and this is a big also - I will be working at Disney in the coming months, which means two things. 1) I will try to update as often as I can, but my work schedule may not permit that. 2) I may get a little Disney-magic happy. I'm sorry. I'm hoping my beta-ers will rein me in on this one, but there will just be so much Disney magic, I won't know what to do with myself. Finally, in the words of John Green, "Best Wishes!" |
