SO CRAZY!

I assure you there is nothing wrong with me. I am not gay, I am not insane, I am just an overly melodramatic broken-down wreck of a wannabe nerd who may or may not be slightly or extremely insane.

Did I mention I wasn't insane?

I just thought this would be a good pastime for my broken-down head that can't come up with original characters and therefore must use a setting and a bunch of characters all nicely laid out for it in advance in order for it to make up stories.

In other words, I'm retarded.

Oh yeah, I like Kingdom Hearts. I like the gameplay and I like the storyline.

I also like any book or game or movie or show or anime in general that carry deep themes and not just crazy characters and powers.

I have something to say about fanfiction:

I've read around on Kingdom Hearts, and I'm sorry, but I despise the strange, twisted and even sometimes gay (actually, most of the time gay) fanfics that sport dumb tags like "akuroku" "rokusora" and several other meldings that I can't even separate the names out of. I have no idea who enjoys writing soppy, shallow romances about Riku and Sora's sexual antics, but it's dumb, the "stories" have no storylines, and are very retarded in general. I'm not saying one-chapter stories or romance stories are trash, a lot of them that I've read are quiet good (but nowhere as popular as they should be), I just hate those shallow icky romances held together by lose plot that feels like it's been grafted out of a bad porn movie. To the authors of such stories I say: improve your writing, or don't plague this website with your trash at all.

I've probably attracted a lot of hate with this rant.

My rant about the bad things of fanfiction done, I will now move on to lighter subjects.

I like the whole concept of fanfiction. Sure you get to see all your favorite characters get together and all, and that's nice, but I think the best merit about this whole thing is its ease. It's like training wheels for authors that eventually want to get up to writing their own books. it's like "You've got a setting and a bunch of characters already all laid out for you, go for it!" and of course while you're getting yourself up to a better writer, you get to make your dream alternate storyline that you've been cooking up for years on end.
