I'm relatively new to FF.net. I'm 25 years old and I have a bachelor's degree in journalism. I write fics to keep my feet wet with writing, even though I can tell it's dumbing down. You don't use it, you lose it, I guess. Anyway, I don't write for a newspaper anymore because I can't find a job doing it. I'm in the process of joining the Navy as an officer, so I'm hoping to knock out my most recent fic before I leave. I'm hoping to work in public affairs during my commission, but I'm also considering Navy Legal.

I love Final Fantasy. In fact, the first fic I ever wrote was about Final Fantasy 6. Locke is the greatest. I've written a few Smallville fics, even though I stopped watching when it jumped the shark at the end of season 3. I love Scrubs, The West Wing, Veronica Mars and Supernatural, but I've never taken the time to write a fic based on those shows.

I hate Japanese cartoons, so don't ask me to write a fic about Dragonsballz. It won't happen. I also hate Twilight and all things vampire related. Like Buffy said, "The only good vamp is a dead vamp."
