I have fallen in love with all things related to twilight fanfiction. Whether it's about the characters or the actors behind them, I am hooked. Of course my current situation allows for alot of spare time to indulge in my latest passion. A year ago I was diagnosed with Narcolepsy, while that bothers me somewhat, it is the side effect of Cataplexy that has altered my life. My job of 8 years let me go since I am unable to perform any of my job duties.

This has been a total life change for me and a hard one, but all you can do is take life one day at a time and one step. Between fighting for disability, unable to pay for expensive medication I can honestly tell you that my life is far from being boring. However I can admit that good has come from my circumstances as I have learned the importance of hope and how it gives me the strength to continue fighting. I have learned not to judge people so easily. I who was once a motivated person who strived to get ahead and improve daily am now accused by many of giving up or being lazy. My disorder is misunderstood by those who do not take the time to learn how it affects me. I am unable to stop Cataplexy attacks and I have major ones that resemble seizures at times. Because of the response I have gotten from some people close to me I have learned not to judge people, if I have not walked in their shoes and been submersed in their situation how do I know their story?

As I live each day I am thankful for each thing, big and small, that gives me a measure of happiness and I can say that Fan Fiction and Twilighted always provide happy moments. There are so many gited writers here and I can always find a new story that touches me or makes me laugh. It also fuels my inner author, tempting me to try my hand at a story. Who knows, all I can do is try right?

My favorite types of stories have enlarged. I started out devouring anything related to Edward and Bella. Wide Awake was the first story I read and I still read it now and then. Stories based on Jasper and Edward started getting my attention and suddenly I fell in love with the character of Jasper. There is so much potential for stories there. Bella and Jasper pairings are by far some of the hottest pairings I have found. Edward is the young girl crush, but Jasper, he is a womans wet dream. Whew!! Thanks to the diverse group of writers who supply me with my fix, I am always finding new scenarios that catch my eye, like Edward Wallbanger and Under the Influence that crack me up.
