'Kay, Herry here...

I love film, want to be a director, and with a burning passion for Harry Potter. And Marquis de Sade, but I really don't think you'll see any cross-over fics there from me... (shudders at the mere thought of Justine/Ron). I've read Harry Potter fanfics for soon three years, and I love it. It's a fun way to make the time move between the books. I've written a bit myself, haven't posted it though.

I don't know if people actually read the profiles, I know I do, but hey, I'm not what most people call normal. I'm 17, study culture (I know it sounds boring, but it's really not. I love it!)

ThingsI like in Harry Potter fanfics:

Parodies (almost the only thing I ever read.)

Serious stories, almost all of them pretentious and so badly researched they could have been parodies

Silvver Phoenix, the light of my life (no, I don't know her, no, I've never met her) Whenever I'm feeling down I just have to read through Harry Potter and the Prisoner of A Cabana, and nothing can make my day go wrong. I was also one of the many people enraged when her parodies were yanked off. It's that kind of humour that makes you believe in the good in the world.

Things I want to shove up the writer's:

Harry/Hermione : Just so wrong and simply no canon evidence

Draco/pretty much everyone : It comes a time in your life when you have to learn to seperate Draco Malfoy from Tom Felton, who I agree is as hot as two squirrels in a forest fire, and Draco is never ever in the books described as a character you'd like to get it on with in a broom closet. Unless you're into that whole S/M sort of thing, and I'm not. This also goes for changing his personality.

Lily's friends : I don't know why people startedinserting their own friends as Lily's. It's annoying beyond words. Often with very badly chosen names, like Nicole, Casey or any other modern-sounding american name.

Keep it Brittish: For the love of God, what people are sending American Mary Sues over to Hogwarts? Please, mail me and tell me what the hell you were thinking! I need to know!

Mary Sues: Does anyone really like them? Does anyone else's jaw drop besides Harry's when she's swishing her silvery hair with a laughter like the sound of fairies' laughter?
