First off... I am also Hope-Destiny...yeah, only the "Hope" part though. My friend is the "Destiny" part. My homepage is my DeviantArt page where I am known as "hope-and-destiny" however this time, it is only me. I have stuff up from there that I have not posted here. Enjoy!

Second, I have decided to return from being MIA for so long, and I am here to clean up my profile that became a blog that nobody read. I have a Yu-Gi-Oh! fanfic in progress right now. I haven't decided on pairings yet, but I'm thinking of attempting a Kaiba/Joey one because of the overused plot-lines that are in that area of fics.

I'm truly sorry to say that Naruto has gotten stupid; it was dumb of me to just discover that now, I should have known once Part 2 started. The Artist is dragging out the story line as some kind of fanservice (?) and quite frankly, I'm bored. Sorry to all you wonderful Naruto authors who have me on alerts, I will not be updating any of my one shots, nor will I be writing anymore fan-fiction for that manga. If someone PM's me with a 'super special awesome' (to quote Yugi from Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged) idea or plot I may consider writing one from Naruto.

I want to add that I was MIA because I have gotten into the sport of figure skating, something which I only praticed for my own amusement. I now skate Sunday mornings, Saturday mornings, Tuesday evenings, and I might slip in a Thrusday morning now and then. Each practice for me takes up about 2 hours of my life, so you can see why I have gone MIA. But don't worry everyone, I'm back and I'm here to stay too!

A little "About Me" section (basically tid-bits of stuff I've been asked):

My first name is Lavina, but people call me Lavi. I created the penname Maria-Lilly Kon in the fifth grade and that is why it is quite kiddish, but I have been known by this name so I decided to keep it. I will not give out the names of my real life friends that are listed in the "Inspirations" section of Four Months To Live no matter how much you insist you know someone of that name. I'm sorry but giving out information such as that is up to them and them alone. My location is Canada, ff.net did not have the "locations" button when I created this so it is not listed at the top. I'm Chinese, I speak Mandarian and Cantonese at home. My muse died a while ago and I am practicing some sort of necromancy to get it back. I get a lot of inspiration from my friend's 'inner-mind' (as he calls it); it's quite thoughtful and the more I think of it, the more muse-like it has become. Someone PM'ed me asking for my password, and I'll certainly give it out, it's 'pleasegoandgetalife.' complete with the period. (I joke) I play piano and flute and you guys already know I am a figure skater.

On a side note, people have been PM-ing me asking if I need a beta-reader. My response to that is, thank you so much for asking and offering your services, but I already have a beta, MaryZhang is my beta reader, or at least I always show her my fics at school before publishing them online. She has her opinion of the first draft and then I revise it to publish online. So I really don't need an online beta-reader. Of course if you see any spelling errors, grammar or anything that is way OOC feel free to point that out in your reviews and favs! (yes, I have found a lot of you tend to favourite the story without any review at all, this hurts me, not that I'm upset that you fav'ed my story but I was really dying to know what made you enjoy my fics so much.)

A small update: Anyone who asks for my MSN will be given it. Just PM me and we can work out something. It's kept hidden because of spam from people with no lives.

Another update: MaryZhang and those people listed in the "Inspirations" section of Four Months To Live did not tell me of a wonderful manga called Death Note. I watched the live action movie on Youtube (ha) and loved it. I think I'll buy the DVD with the English voice-overs when it comes out!
