Author has written 15 stories for Transformers/Beast Wars. My new story is called A Ghost of a Chance the song that inspired it is here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YLTFbtOfmxk and it's been so much fun to write, I've got a good head start on because i started it ages ago, but didn't want to put it up until I'd finished the others. It deals with most of the same characters and a similar time-line, but a few changes; like Jazz and Prowl not meeting when they should have created a whole new world. Hope you like it. Well, my big story is finished, I cried when I put the last chapter up and i shall miss it more than I can say, but I'm not done yet. I have at least one more story to tell, and you've probably worked out by now that I can't write short stories. I have another task to keep me busy too, over the next few weeks, months... i don't know how long, I am going to edit each of my stories, improve their grammer and maybe add little bits to make things run smoother, I won't be making any huge changes, but hopefully it will make them easier to read and enjoy. I don't know yet how ff.n will react to this so i apologise in advance if it starts spewing out alerts or acting up, with this in mind I've decided to do a sense of trust first, the rest will be done as and when i have time. An old friend of mine once told me 'you can't tell a curved story with a straight stick', and because of that memory I find it hard to understand how this is the best medium for telling the stories that I have produced so far, but it is the only way available to me, and I don't know how to not write. With this in mind I hope you will forgive me for my rather meandering style of writing, most of my stories link into one another in some way, hopefully I've remembered to add in all the links, but as I didn't know where this story would go when I started it... well that makes it difficult. But here's the list and hopefully that will make if easier to understand. This all started when I put up There was no warning, was supposed to be a series of short stories about Jazz and the moments that would change his life, but it didn't go as I planned. It a was almost as if I lost control of my characters as soon as I released them on the world, but seemed to go down well so I carried on. Next came But when you're lost and I realised that I had a series on my hands which is still a way off being finished but it's getting there. And alone was the next one really but Getting found went up first because I wanted those that read it to find out what Jazz had been up to at the same time as Prowl. That choice is yours now but it seemed like a good idea at the time. Promises Made picked up from where that one left off and was meant to include a bit more about Blue and Sunny but Jazz stole the show and I promised myself (and them) that I would write something that would have a lot more of them in it. So I started When life is a battlefield which I hate the title of but it was all I could come up with so if anyone has any ideas for a better name I'd be more than happy to hear them. A sense of trust was writtten because there were a few bits I needed to put in and no matter how hard I tried I couldn't get them to fit anywhere else and I wanted to see a bit more of Wheeljack. Sounds like hope is really the story that started it all for me although it's gone through a lot of changes since I started it last August and a little over a year late i finally finished it, I'm very proud of this story, like me it's come a long way, it's the most challenging story I've writen so far. The price we pay got started because I decided that "my Sunstreaker" (I know he's not mine really but hey a girl can dream) was too nice and turned out to be the last main story to be set on Cybertron so after nearly a year First Kiss now fits into the rest and has been added to. Walking in my shoes is probably the closest I will ever write to crack, if you want to take it as part of the series you can do, if not, try to enjoy it anyway, but really it's just me playing. Half of Something Whole is similar to treasured times in the idea that it has no fixed point in my stories, each part is a moment in time, an hour, a day, time is relative and doesn't believe in me, but it is probably my favourite because it lets me write in the first person, which is, and always will be an indulgence of mine. For the Promise of Peace is the last in the series, and is set in the future rather than the past, it seemed only right, if you had a choice between canon and happy-ever-after which would you take? There are a few extra bits that I've wriiten that may not be everyone's idea of a good read as they are a bit... can I just say heavier than the others? and they can be found in Treasured Times whether you read them or not it intirely up to you. Another thing I should memtion is this A simple thing for her but something that continues to make my day, I have fanart and I cannot think of anyone better to draw it. Wow for someone who doesn't talk much I've sure been rattling on for a while, I'll shut up now, well done for making it this far and thanks for reading, catch you later, FB. |
