I first read Harry Potter and the Philosophers/Sorcerers Stone in the autumn of 2001. That was during the time the first movie came out. I had to read it for my Principles of Sociology class. After reading the first book, I just stuck watching the movies. When watching the movies 1 through 5, it appeared to me that Harry and Hermione would get together. This was until July 2009 when the Half Blood Prince movie came out and Harry and Ginny get together while Hermione and Ron pine after each other. I accepted these paring at first because I had not read any further than book one. During the summer of 2009, I got a bug up my butt and decided to read all of the Harry Potter Books.

After reading all of the books, then rereading them again just to make sure I understood everything. This is when I notice the vast differences between the movies and the books and of course, Rowling’s many 18-wheeler sizes plot holes. Did she not reread what she had written or even the publishing company? I had some questions that needed answered. Some of these are.

1. Where was Ginny during forth year. She could have done something to be supportive.

2. How did the Twins know the maps password.

3. What was said in the letter to Petunia?

4. Where were Hermione’s parents?

Questions like these led me to get answers from the internet. This is where I found the lovely world of fan fiction and fanfiction.net. The more fan fiction I read the more I was cemented in the Harry and Hermione pairing.

The stories that I have read has help give me an insight to different ideas or ways of thinking about a plots or characters. I love to read reviews. It helps explain or point out things in the story I did not understand or notice.

I do not believe in the One Big Happy Weasley Family (OBHWF) bullshit. I do not like Ron, Molly, Percy or Fan-girl Ginny. If you don’t believe that Ginny is not a bit delusional, then you need to read her departing words to Harry in the HBP (“I knew you wouldn’t be happy unless you were hunting Voldemort. Maybe that’s why I like you so much.”). How could anyone possible think that Harry was happy hunting Voldemort? Harry defiantly must have been on extremely potent love potion because any clear-headed person would defiantly react negatively towards that statement. Harry certainly did not want to be ‘The Chosen One’. He wanted it to be Neville before Dumbledore said it was he that Voldemort chosen when he was marked with his scar at the end of the fifth book.

I am working on a story call A Simple Twist of Fate (not sold on the title yet). It is a story that is starting during Marauders and Lily’s end of 5th year Owl exams. It will show how James and Lily got together through the fateful night on Halloween and Dumbledore dropping off Harry at the Dursley’s. It will pick up again when Harry is eight. He will meet a new friend and a long lost relative. All I have planed out is up to Harry’s first year at Hogwarts. I am not sure if it’s going to go a full seven years yet or not. It is a H/Hr, N/L, SB/MM/EV, RL/DM, J/L, F/A. I am not going to post anything until I get minimum of 12 chapters written. I do not want to be a writer who starts a story and then does not up date for a year. I want to have some chapters built up just in case life gets in the way and I am unable to write.

I also started and outline of Paladeus challenge. No title to the story yet.

Plot Requirements: During the fight at the Department of Mysteries, when Hermione is attacked, Harry believes her to be dead. In a horrible rage, he unlocks a power seal that he had placed on himself as a child (or his parents did due to LOTS of accidental magic) where ninety-percent of his magic was sealed away (and was until that point, even as powerful as he was.) He uses this powerful magic to heal Hermione without even realizing he did it, though everyone else did, and then, they all go and meet everyone in the room with the veil of death. When Sirius is about to be pushed through, Harry reaches out with all of his magic, encasing Sirius in it just as he falls through. The magic (acting much like a rope with a cocoon on the end) pulls taut and Harry pulls back, yelling for it to “GIVE ME BACK MY FAMILY!” which pulls not only Sirius back through with his new and immense power, but Lily and James Potter as well. You take the story from there, though Sirius must become innocent and Hermione must spend a lot of time with Harry during the summer as he refuses to let his feelings for her be hidden any longer. He tells her right after the battle is over and she reciprocates in whatever method you choose.)

Now that Voldemort is known to be back, Lily, James and Sirius invite the Grangers to live with them in Potter Manor (large estate, very large, but nice, not sterile,) and with Dobby and Winky whom Harry hires as soon as he finds out about the house, though Dobby has been cleaning it since Harry freed him. If you want it realistic, and the Doctors don't want to leave their practice, have the Potters offer to buy them out and let them manage it, at which point, they can open another one after the war is over. Up to you if Dumbledore was a manipulative or evil/half-evil guy or not. (My own view is that he is fundamentally good, but is clouded by his own views and believes himself to be infallible. I would like this persona, but feel free to do whatever you wish.)

Antagonist(bad guy): As you wish. Voldemort, Dumbledore, Ron, whoever.

Author's story from here: Do what you will with the story, though it MUST remain H/Hr. I would, however, recommend this: Have Harry purchase a pensieve and show all memories from Dursleys', each separate school year and summer and such. It will show the parents what exactly happened, along with Hermione and her parents and Dumbledore if he sticks around for whatever you want with him.

The Rise of the Marauder's: Chapter 1 (All Things Must Pass) is 14000 words and Finished. Chapter 2: 1000 words and growing.

I have decided to read books 1-7 again to make sure all get all the necessary information to help write my first story. All I want to do is read Fan Fiction. What I want to do is plug up any of Rowling’s holes by explain in a logical way of why things happen the way they did. It will be difficult to read some areas of the books because I may dislike the pairings or why certain characters did the things they did.

Oh, I am horrible at grammar, so I will need a Beta to look over my work when it is ready.
