Author has written 2 stories for Atlantis, and Avatar: Last Airbender. And Now For Something Completely Different... Real Name: Nathan Willcockson (hence "Wilco") Birthday: February 13, 1991 (Do the math - I'm not really a sergeant. That just sounded cool for my Xbox Live profile) Occupation: (See Birthday) Favorite Books: Discworld, Dinotopia (Excluding the "First Flight" prequel - God, how that sucked!), Animal Farm, Brave New World, the Settling Accounts series by Harry Turtledove, and assortments of short stories by Ray Bradbury, Edgar Allan Poe, and Mark Twain Favorite Movies: Pirates of the Caribbean, Atlantis: the Lost Empire (and not "Milo's Return" - God, how that sucked!), Star Wars, Treasure Planet, Lord of the Rings, Castle in the Sky, the Road Warrior, Serenity, Steamboy, Pitch Black/Chronicles of Riddick Favorite TV Programs: Battlestar Galactica (post-2000 version), Stargate: Atlantis, Futurama, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Mystery Science Theatre 3000, Avatar (Note: If any of the above two would ever be made for the oustanding Crimson Skies franchise, they would be on my favorites in a heartbeat) As far as fanfiction projects go, I'm currently working on an alternate-universe sequel to Atlantis: the Lost Empire (For my opinion of the Disney sequel, see Favorite Movies). UPDATE: Well, if you were one of the two people who read the first chapter to this, I have some bad news. The school year came and went, and in between I found out not only that I had almost no time to write, but that the entire Atlantis fanbase seemed to have died while I was away. Now that summer has started I can see that this isn't entirely accurate, but in the words of Kida, "We are like a stone the ocean beats against; with each passing year, a little more of us is worn away". Except, in our case, we'd be like a crumbling piece of eighty-year-old concrete, or maybe just a loose sheet of drywall - with each passing year, some very bigass chunks of us are worn away. So, unless a true miracle occurs and Disney (or some other, more intellegent company) decides to revive Atlantis the way it always deserved, I'll be putting this project on the shelf for an indefinite period of time. In other words, feel free to email me for a plotline if you were that interested, because chances are, "indefinite" will translate to "regrettably permenant". It seems I'm addicted to lost causes. First came my dabbling with Atlantis fanfiction, which came just as the fanbase was apparently breathing its last. Now I've moved on to the more fertile pastures of Avatar fanfiction, though I seem to have picked a spot going brown from cowpies: the Sci-Fi category. There are barely any sci-fi Avatar fics in existence, and most of those that do exist are pretty crappy. Mine is titled "Return of the Comet", and is my take on the origins and destiny of the Four Nations, revolving around a key turning point in the war and told mostly through the eyes of Sokka. |
