It's not like he could save himself; performing magic in front of Muggles is out of the question. Harry was at Grimmauld Place and was feeling incredibly fond of everyone there. The dinner passed with laughter and joy, until Fred said something that Harry didn't know how to respond to. How should he? Nobody had ever said that to him before.

Sirius loves to tell Harry about his past with James and Remus and Harry loves hearing about them but when Harry seems hesitant to talk about his past, Sirius finds out just how bad his Godson had it for all those years he was locked away and finds out something heartbreaking that he intends to rectify immediately.

Neville is dropping off a gift for a friend of his Gran's when he meets the world's only consulting detective. Sherlock is curious, and Neville simply wants to not have 'breaker of statute of secrecy' on his records.

It was only when people actually saw John working as a physician that they began to understand: that it wasn't just about bullets and IEDs and trauma care under fire. That "doctor" actually covered a pretty wide field. And that John was bloody good at covering ground. 5 times Dr. Watson treated others and 1 time he treated himself.

Lestrade was used to getting odd, non sequitur texts from Sherlock. But when "John went out for milk" was followed by a terse "two hours ago," Lestrade immediately understood three things: John was missing, Sherlock was quietly panicking, and this could all end very, very badly.

John Watson was a doctor, trained to observe details; a fact Sherlock had never been more aware of than when a drugged John's lifesaving instructions were based on an unlabeled syringe and an unconscious murder suspect's body.

Sixth year AU, written pre HBP. When Harry appears at the Welcoming Feast wearing a glamor only Snape notices, Snape decides to find out what the glamor is hiding. His investigation leads to a number of shocking revelations about both Harry and himself.

Worn out, the boys stop at a remote motel to get shelter from a storm.

COMPLETE AU Third Year. What if a certain phone call pushed Uncle Vernon too far, changing everything? The truth will be revealed but which version will Harry believe? The past will be revealed along with the introduction of old aquaintances.

The Dursleys are abusive, but rescuing Harry may mean that Sirius forfeits the chance to prove his innocence and put the war effort in jeopardy. Remus and Sirius help Harry through this rise of darkness as they come to terms with the last one. PreOotP.
