This is Mistress Monarch, finally writing her profile after about three weeks of being on Fanfiction.net. No, I'm not slow at all, thank you. Anyway, if you want to enjoy my writing to the full extent, I suggest you read some of this. You don't have to and you can just scroll to the stories below, but if you do and ask a question already answered here, I won't respond.

I won't bore you with silly personal details, but I will give you some information on my stories. First of all, instead of making a disclaimer at the top of each story, I will say right now, I DO NOT OWN DEATH NOTE OR ANY OF THE DEATH NOTE CHARACTERS. Everything belongs to Tsugumi Obha and Takeshi Obata. Now, you're probably thinking, "Does she write anything other than Death Note stories? If she does, why doesn't she put up disclaimers to other mangas?" So to answer your unspoken question, no, I don't write anything other than Death Note. If you're a DN fan, this is the place to look for some Matt and Mello goodness, but if you're into Naruto or something, sorry.

And about story content: If you are offended by yaoi, BL, male x male, gay love, or whatever you want to call it, please leave this page. I am fond of the pairing MattXMello, and I enjoy writing... ahem, mature scenarios between the two. Not all the time, but... a fair amount of the time. If you like MxM but dislike "lemons," please enjoy my humor and fluff. Just a warning: This may not be suitable for minors. However, if you're a minor and enjoy smut, be my guest.

Now about requests: At the bottom of my profile, you will see my status on taking requests at the time being. If I'm not available, please check back in later. If I am, shoot me an email of what you'd like to see! I do everything Death Note except for MelloXNear, MattXNear and Mello and/or Matt X an original character. Also, at the bottom you'll see what the length of your story will probably be. If I can write but I'm under a lot of stress, I'll only take one-shot requests, but if you have a super awesome idea or have a multiple-chapter story request, I'll see what I can do to make it a long story. I'll list the people who want requests below my availability status.

And if you have a story you'd like me to read, please tell me, and I'll take a look and tell you what I think. Before you send me a link to your story, know that I will not read and review MelloXNear, MattXNear and Mello and/or Matt X and original character.

Now, one personal thing you should know about me is that I take fanfiction way too seriously. AKA, whatever happens to the characters in your stories makes me think that the characters actually did that. So if you write a sad story, it will impact me very, very hard. For example, I have cried multiple times while reading xxbeyondxxbirthdayxx's story Lithium. So if you have a sad story you want me to read, my review might be a little inaccurate, because I was so struck by it.

I also like to believe Matt and Mello are real (even though I know they're not), and since I love them to death, if you insult them in front of me, I will get pissed, no matter what you say.

If you saw the little asterisks regarding MelloXNear, MattXNear, and Mello and/or Matt X an original character, this is what they're about: I have a serious problem with those pairings. Let me just put this bluntly: I fucking hate it when people put Matt and Mello with Near and OCs. Whenever I see a story like "Mello and Matt fall deeply in love with two perfect bitches," I cringe and snarl. No joke. Same with Mello and Matt deeply in love with a certain white-haired albino hellcat. I also don't care for heterosexual Mello and Matt pairings like MattXMisa, MelloXTakada, etc. Gender swaps are okay, but I prefer MelloXMatt in their raw, perfect glory. Don't hate, it's just a quirk. Sorry if this offends.
