![]() Author has written 14 stories for Star Wars, Hunger Games, and Mass Effect. Hello, readers! Small bio: I write because I get bored easily, and because I enjoy writing as therapy. No great mystery. Generally, I stick to canon. When canon fails me, I just make things up. My Work Mass Effect Five Card Stud: Just a quick piece I put out after having an idea one evening. Not necessarily my best work but it was fun to write. Hunger Games Peace In Our Time: My take on a potential sequel to the series, written thirty years after the end of the war. Primarily establishes the scene for the follow up fic I've got on the drawing board. Something of an extended character piece. Star Wars The Order Reborn: This story has been in the works for close to four years. I had the idea, started it, and went on hiatus for a while. I'm actively working on it again, and while there's a long way to go (I hope to have a lot of content to this one), it feels good to be back. I still need to lay out a full story path or I'm going to be in trouble... :) Knights of the Old Republic III: My take on what the third game could have been. Introduced my infamous 'Cade' character. The current version is the Revised Edition, with updated dialogue. I've been debating on whether to make a 'Directors Cut' re-release, if you will, to change a few things around and update the style to my more modern techniques, as well as fixing the story's biggest flaw: The purely accidental omission of HK-47. (the brief mention was shoehorned in to fix that problem.) As a friend told me when I realized it : Condescending Statement: It will be rather hard to insert my dialogue and actions into your completed work, Master. Tales of the Old Republic: The five part 'expansion' series, building off the AU created by my KotOR III fic. A Deadly Situation: The first episode of TotOR. A disgrace. I need to take it back to square one and rewrite the whole thing. It's really that terrible. I must have been out of it when I wrote it. Memories of the Past: The second episode of TotOR. It builds off of the ending of Tales Episode One, and is more of a character piece than anything else. Diplomacy of a Jedi: The third episode of TotOR. Takes place during a diplomatic conference on Onderon, and sets the stage for the fourth episode. This episode was rather fun to write, as it wasn't a character piece, nor was it an action piece. Fall of a Jedi: Episode Four of TotOR. One of my better stories, and the climax of the TotOR series. It helped that I had just finished a playthrough of KotOR before I wrote it. This was my attempt to write a 'darker, grittier' story. The Final Journey: The fifth, and final episode of TotOR. Written to close off the AU I created, and to finish the series. Torment and Redemption: If the traffic numbers are any indication, this is my best piece. Done for a request made by Auros Sopherai, and a one-shot character piece. I was pleasantly surprised by the way it turned out. Endings and Reunions: My second true one-shot character piece. Reunites Revan with Bastila. Revelations and Realizations: The third character piece, replacing Acceptance and Forgiveness. Spies of the Old Republic: I have plans to expand this into a full story, but it remains a one-shot for now. I had the idea while watching a Bond film to portray Revan as a James Bond-esque character. Knights of the Ole Republik: On indefinite hiatus. No, not from writers block, but from a general distaste of the way it turned out. It just doesn't seem to work the way a parody should, and not being able to write it in script format is a big reason. The second chapter sits about halfway completed. I might revise it and post it on KFM. In Progress/On the Drawing Board I've got a follow up to my Hunger Games story, Peace In Our Time, on the drawing board and now in production, with the first chapters hopefully available in December. Explanations: My user name? A terribly long story... I feel the need to explain my Cade character. Initially, I had intended the Tales series to be a sort of 'next-gen' spinoff, involving Revan and Co passing the torch to a younger generation. Cade would have led this change. However, most reactions to Cade were rather negative. I will admit, the lack of apparent flaws was a bit of a mistake. This is one of the reasons why I changed the entire direction of the Tales series after Memories of the Past, which explains the disconnect between A Deadly Situation and my later work. Normally, in other work I've done, creating a strong original character is not a problem. I suspect in trying to maintain Revan alongside Cade only caused me to end up making the series about Revan, the stronger of the two. Either way, Cade is gone now, apart from a small part in Realizations. Misc In the mean time, keep checking back. To everyone who reads my stories, you're the best. Thanks. | |||||||
