![]() Author has written 6 stories for Escaflowne, Incarnations of Immortality, Willard, and MirrorMask. Jordan J. Smith is a young woman living in southern California. Lately, she's been reading Terry Pratchett's 'Discworld' series. Her writers block comes and goes, but it isn't as persistent as it used to be. 2/4/13 Trying to come back after a bit of a hiatus. Apologies to the nice folks who asked for my help as a Beta reader, if you're still interested please message me AGAIN - by then I will have hopefully read through what you've already made available and possibly have pointers. I will check in here at least once a week for this purpose from now on. Presently working on a few original shorts, tinkering with 'My Funny Valetine' though I'm not too sure if I'll continue anything else I've got posted. As always, thanks for the interest & support! 11/17/11 I wanted to say thanks to Valinor's Twilight for the review on 'Sheltered by the Fire'. I had been tying to illustrate that Rai was mature for her age, and had endured such treatment before being 'saved'. But I did still write her too young, or too calm. I'm tinkering with it to add more time after she joins up; I'm just still not sure what should happen, which was why I skipped it. Ah well, it just means I have to try harder :) Also, for those of you who left me such positive reviews for 'Being a Messenger', I'd like to say thanks, and apologize for the long hiatus. I am in fact working on the next chapter. It's just a little intimidating to keep trying to live up to Piers Anthony, for he is very good, and I am but an amateur by comparison. | |||||||
