![]() Author has written 5 stories for Ultimate Spider-Man. PM me if you'd like a review on your work. Thanks, -Afe Here's some advice... If you're going to improve anywhere, start with the dialogue. If you're still doing the whole "he said/she said" gig, then start moving away from that and start using different verbiage to make the dialogue flow easier. Special note: you don't always have to identify who says what at the end of a quote. That's what context is for. Don't force romances. We're all guilty of it. Stop giving a f*k about how many favorites/followers you have. If you enjoy writing a story, trust me, eventually somebody is going to come over to see what the hoot is all about. If you allow yourself to be discouraged by those numbers, then you are not going to have fun trying to get published in real life. One does not simply deem themselves the "Official" writer of any fandom. That's pretentious. I don't care how good you are at writing. Nobody is ever the "Official" anything. Don't sell your chapters from Fan Fiction. You're the worst type of writer on this site if you do so. Get published. Buffer chapters just to update something is worse than not updating at all. Try to give each of your chapters some sort of significance. Otherwise, they'll feel like unnecessary chapters. Here's some quotes, I guess... Enjoy them, if you're into that sort of thing... "The most important cage you can free yourself from is the one in which you care what others think of you." "I'm still me no matter my mental health." "If nobody will help you, do it alone." "Be an outcast; be pleased to walk alone." "I have learned that friendship isn't about who you've known the longest. It's about who came and never left your side." "Our memories of yesterday will last a lifetime. We will take the best, forget the rest, and someday will find that these are the best of times." "Not to understand a treasure's worth till time has stole away the slighted good, is cause of half the poverty we feel, and makes the world the wilderness it is." "You don't need a certain number of friends. You need a number of friends you can be certain of." "In prosperity, our friends know us. In adversity, we know our friends." "Good people are like candles; they burn themselves up to give others light." "An honest enemy is better than a best friend who lies." "Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can't help them, at least don't hurt them." | |||||||
