![]() Author has written 1 story for Monsters vs. Aliens. Hello there! Like the username says, I am a librarian. Acutally I am still in training; I am in college and have one more year til I have my AA degree in Library and Information Technology (yea, you need a degree to be a librarian. Learn something new every day, don't ya?) Favorite music: Bing Crosby, Linkin Park, Micheal Buble, Josh Groban, Matt Mayer, and too many others to list. Basically I like a little bit of everything in music, even country. Also, I love soundtracks. Esp. for Broadway musicals. Favorite Movies: While my favorite movie changes regularly, my top list includes:Any of the "Road to..." Pictures W/ Bob and Bing, Nighmare Before christmas, Spiderman 1& 2, X-Men 2, Hellboy, Van Helsing,( I have a addiction to superhero/ comic book movies) almost any romantic comedy, anything with Charlie Chaplin, Bob Hope and/or Bing Crosby, ALL the Harry Potters, and The Birdcage. I recently got into foreign films, esp. Bollywood. Even MORE recently the Marx brothers have taken over my brain. I don't mind; their lunacy is keeping me sane. Latest additions to this list: Watchmen and Monsters vs. Aliens. Favorite TV Shows: When I am actually home and have time, I like to watch Law and Order:SVU, House MD, Good Eats, Comedy Central Presents.., Star Trek: The next Generation( I'm a closeted Trekkie), and even though its not on any more I Mystery Science Theater 3000. Favorite Books: All the Harry Potter books, the Sisterhood of the Traveling pants series, Alice series by Phyllis Naylor, Richard Belzer's "UFO's, JFK, and Elvis; conspiracies you don't have to be crazy to believe", The Mountain song Legacy by BJ Hoff ( a VERY sappy historical fiction), Carrie, The Lovely Bones, The Sweet Potato Queens books By Jill Connor Browne ( Real life wisdom; I want to be more like her when i get older) My Heroes: My parents for raising us because me and siblings never made it easy. The Marx Brothers because they were 'a pie in the face just because its funny' kind of comedy, Groucho in particular because he could say whatever he wanted to anyone and get away with it. Anyone who can stand up for their faith and what they believe in because that takes a great amount of courage in this world. Charlie Chaplin and Harpo Marx because they knew they could say more with their characters by remaining silent. |
