![]() Author has written 10 stories for Gravitation. Not much to say. I love to write. I've been writing for, well, a long time now. I was in the New York publishing track for many years, but am now doing ebooks, because I want to write my kind of story, not what is the most popular in a given year. That means stories that deal with complex, and unusual, relationships, and interesting worlds. (I write SF/F) Writing Gravi fiction is a wonderful relaxation from the stress of doing it for a living, and kind of a fun way to explore the whole "writing for a living" mindset. You'll see a fair amount of that theme in my Gravi fic. I dabble in several anime/manga but I'm really only addicted to a few, Gravitation, Yami no Matsuei (Descendants of Darkness,) and the best ever, Saiyuki! Love it in all its incarnations, though I'm not inclined to write fanfic about it. Bleach. Loveless, 12 Kingdoms, Samuri 7...I watch others, but those are the ones I own and rewatch frequently. My interests are varied. I play piano and guitar well enough to fake my way as an accompanist, and I sing a bit; I've trained horses, both for cutting and dressage; I do a fair bit of art (paintings and comic books); I enjoy sewing (mainly cross-stitch and costuming,) I like 3-D modeling, both in clay and ships (you know, those you build plank by plank?) and I love to figure skate. I currently share my life with a very large, twenty pound black cat, who is the inspiration for "Yushu" in my Gravi-fics. UpDate 5/1/11: My beautiful Efanor passed away very suddenly. I now have Eushu, (because my kitties all have E-names) a tiny little dynamo who's living up to his name in every way. Part of my silence for the last few year is that I've bought a house, built a 4000 gallon pond with koi and a waterfall, started a web-ebook business with two other authors, put up a Cafe Press store, and have been, generally, REALLY busy. I've got one other complete Gravi story to put up and a couple of additions to Cotton Candy Snow in my head. I think, maybe, I'm getting the urge to write Gravi again. If you feel like more, but different, check out my "real" work at That's it for now. Thanks for reading my stuff! |
