![]() Author has written 8 stories for Captain America, Star Wars, Guardians of the Galaxy, Teen Titans, Game of Thrones, Avengers, and Percy Jackson and the Olympians. First of all, if you hate my story, just stop reading. Leaving a hate-comment every single chapter is kinda overkill and leaves the impression that you actually kinda like my story, since you're still reading it. And if you really have to, then at the very least, sign onto your account so we can message each other and discuss how Hi, I'm a college student and a self-proclaimed Master Procrastinator! That being said, I use cheesy titles. My grammar ranges from impeccable to completely flawed and my use of pronouns can be...interesting. I rarely post...until I do, I get ideas...until I don't, and I probably won't finish my works...unless it happens, so don't bother following me or anything. You will end up being more disappointed with me than my mother is. My stories? They're probably out of character and/or have a messed up timeline. I have a problem with commitment and a strange sense of humor and it probably shows in my writing. My knowledge of Transformers? Haven't watched a single episode. Star Wars? Was reading a book in the corner of the living room the whole time. Supernatural? Lost interest after the first few episodes. My point? I pretty much don't know anything about the movie/book/thingy I'm writing about. My stories won't be accurate at all. The people will be out of character. Help me out if you see wrong information in a story. Fanfiction.net = Fan fiction. = Fan. Fiction. Oh, and whatever profile/story pictures I currently might or might not have will not be: of me, drawn by me, taken by me, or related to anyone I know, so don't bother trying to track me down, any of you crazy hackers out there. Oh... Did you come here to learn about me as a person...? Oh, okay. I play Quidditch. Yes, it's an actual sport. Buncha' nerds running around an open field, holding sticks between our legs and hitting balls. Check it out on YouTube - we even have a World Cup. Um... I never pick up phone calls because I was raised around a house of guys, so my diction and intonation is embarrassingly like a dude's. I'm still stuck in the 'boys have cooties' stage. Let's see... Bacon is life. I microwave chocolate chips with a dab of butter to make them get that crunchy 'burned chocolate' taste. My secret ingredient in pretty much anything is honey. I don't know what else you'd like to know...? ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*I LOVE THE WORLD*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Tip to all Fanfiction readers: Sometimes, you just have to write the fic. you want to read. Seriously. Go forth and write your heart out. Yeah, I only type early in the morning, from around 2 to 4, while eating highly sugary foods, and it probably shows, too. "Students dying' was too long, so they eventually shortened it to 'studying." Having a crisis of faith guys... Will update soon, I hope. Blah, blah, blah ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*I LOVE THIS WORLD*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ Random Grammar Tips for Writers (A.K.A. Stuff that Annoys Me): Your: You own it You're: 'You are' Its: Possessive - belongs to 'it' It's: Short for 'it is' Who: Identifying pronoun for a person Whom: The receiver of something (ex. To whom it may concern) Who's: 'Who is' Whose: Possessive (ex. Whose cup is this?) Their: It belongs to them There: Refers to location/position (in/at/to/etc, ex. over there) They're: Shortened form of 'they are' Nauseous: Has the ability to induce nausea (ex. That meat loaf is nauseous) Nauseated: When you feel ill/disgusted (ex. I was nauseated by the meat loaf.) Farther: used for physical distance Further: used for figurative distance Weary: tired Wary: cautious Lose: lost your way, lose a bet, etc. Loose: set free, your tooth is wriggly, etc. 'Anxious' is a fear. If you are 'anxious' to see your friends, that is a bad thing and means you're not looking forward to it. 'Alot' is not a word. Neither is 'impactful.' 'Broadcasted' isn't either, but it's becoming more common and accepted. In speech: (In the U.S.) Put commas and periods inside the quotation marks. Colons and semicolons are placed outside. As for what to use? I'm bad at explaining, but this is my best shot: Commas: If you put a variation of 'said' (ex. replied, answered, muttered, etc.) you generally have a comma: I said, "No, sorry." "Oh, hey," she said. To make sure, remove the speech (quotation marks and everything inside them) and look at what is left - both 'I said' and 'she said' would be sentence fragments, not full sentences, so a comma is needed. Periods: The silence was broken. "I hate you." That said, she looked away. Both sentences, before and after the speech, are full sentences and the quotation is part of neither. ~*~*~*~*~*~*~*I LOVE MY WORLD*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ UPDATES: If I make a promise that I'm going to update something soon, don't take it seriously. I break promises. (Plus, isn't time relative or something?) |
