![]() Author has written 1 story for Heartland. Heh. I really don't know much about this coding business, but I'll give it a shot. Bio: I'm darned near 26 now, female, and I work as a house coordinator for persons in a group home. I'm responsible for making sure people have what they need and get to where they have to go. My social life is almost nil, as is any hope of romantic entanglements for the moment, but on my time off I like to go to movies, bookstores, and museums, or camping. I'm also a pagan and recently got a new dog. Sadie is a Golden Retriever and has caused so much happiness already, and she arrived December 27th, 2009! Hobby of Mine: Swapping! Come check me out at Swapbot to see what I'm doing. I enjoy crafting in general and am currently working on accordion book-making. TV: Generally I don't get to watch a whole lot of TV. Whenever I do, though, it's either Buffy, Angel, Firefly, X-Files, House, Criminal Minds, Family Guy, or the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. Books: I will read nearly everything, except for financial thrillers. I mean, come on - it's currency and numbers, who are you trying to kid? Boring stuff. My favourite writer will always be Mercedes Lackey: there is just something about the way she writes that is at once both familiar and enchanting. Other writers whom I adore are: J.R.R. Tolkein, J.K. Rowling, C.S. Lewis, Kelly Armstrong, Marion Zimmer Bradley, Jane Yolen, Charles de Lint, Neil Gaiman - the list goes on and on. Currently I am reading House of Night series by P.C. Cast. A Note on Writing: I've been a fan of ff.net/lurker thereof since about 1995, but I never actually posted or had an account since whenever I started this one. I've wrote some fics (or part of fics - drabbles, perhaps) for the HP universe but never anything that I felt was good enough. I am working on some stuff for Heartland as well as HON. So far, though, it's hard coming. My one and only fic so far has been The Wind that Breaks the Heart. |
