![]() Author has written 2 stories for Tales of Symphonia. UPDATED 02/16/2019: No planned comeback at this time. stats: I have lived in various parts of the United States all my life, visited much more of it, but never left this country. Something I would one day like to rectify. I've worked in the same industry for over 12 years and I am good at my job, but it is not my passion. When I'm not working, I'm usually reading or working on one of my novels, sometimes fanfiction. Fanfiction is a nice release for me, a way to clear the mind and recharge when needed. interests: I am driven by two needs: to help and to create. I love when the two go hand-in-hand. My heart and soul are invested to music and stories. Music has always been a part of my life. My family is very involved in music from teaching to playing in orchestras to music ministry. My parents began instructing me when I was very young and I have had some incredible opportunities throughout my life. Story-telling has also always been a part of my life. When I was small I would make up stories to tell my mother at bedtime and she would write them down in a journal. When I was a little older I began writing them myself and with the introduction of a computer to the household when I was around thirteen I began writing in earnest. fanfic: I began writing fanfiction before I really knew such a thing existed. I had told my own stories for a long time, but after watching the original Star Wars trilogy and devouring the novels I craved more, needed more... as there were no other movies or books at the time, the best I could do was write my own. I've definitely come a long way from those early days, and thank fanfiction and the community around it for helping develop my skills. Schooling can teach you technical skills, practice helps you learn to write your heart, but a supportive community helps encourages you, pushes you. Tales of Symphonia (game) PENDING. The most recent published work. My brother introduced me to this game and I rather love it. I want to return to writing Adbertos and I have plans for other stories. favs: Really, just about all of them. I am enjoying telling Anna's story and hope to explore others. Game-play wise I prefer Genis, though I will play Raine if the need arises. ships: Kratos/Anna, Lloyd/Colette, Zelos/Sheena, Yuan/Martel. Tales of Vesperia (game) PLANNING STAGES. As of this update I have not completed by first play-through, so I'm still taking notes and doing my research. I'm leaning to start off with a Judith one-shot. favs: TBD ships: TBD ACOTAR (book) PLANNING STAGES. At the moment I am completing a review of the series on my Tumblr (link below if you're interested). I am drafting a Nesta one-shot, which might be ready to publish by the end of February 2019 if things go well. I'm not entirely sure where I plan to go with future works, but we'll see I suppose. favs: Nesta, Cassian, Elain, Amren, Lucien, Azriel. ships: Nesta/Cassian, Feyre/Rhys FullMetal Alchemist (manga/anime) IN PROGRESS. AU piece that incorporates the manga/Brotherhood and the first anime series. Not long into it I discovered it is far more... labor intensive than I had first realized and have only been working on it in fits and starts. One day I hope to get the plot wrangled out. favs: Hawkeye and Mustang top this list followed closely by the rest of the cast. ships: Roy/Riza, Edward/Winry, Ling/LanFan, Al/Mei Redwall (book) IN PROGRESS. I'm especially eager to do this one justice in honor of Brian Jacques, so it may be quite some time before this one sees the light of day. favs: OTTERS. Harry Potter (book) RETIRED. While the Potter-verse will always be my start, I have to step back from it now. favs: Marauders Star Wars (movie/book) RETIRED. I'm not sure if I will ever write Star Wars again. It was the very first 'serious' bit of writing I did (25 years ago!). I like to look back at it and smile. No promises but... perhaps one day... in a galaxy far, far away... favs: Mara Jade reading: (a small selection) The Raven Cycle and other works by Maggie Stiefvater watching: The works of Hayao Miyasaki listening: (very brief) Sister Hazel (folk rock days) random links: tumblr: New account for book reviews and writing. |
