Favorite Movies: Harry Potter Movies (Given), Ice Age, some Disney Movies (prefer the classics), Dennis the Menace (90s movie with Walter Matthu; not the constant freakin' remakes), Narina movies, Pagemaster (I love Christopher Lloyd. XP so there!), and some others I don't recall. My views on Twilight (just to get it out of the way): I'm neutral about the series. I've read them when they were just any old regular book and now that the popularity has increased;I've become indifferent about them. They seem so illusive to all young girls who read them and of course, the Twilight Moms (God that's just scary on so many freakin' levels). I think basically they're just books for any young girl who has a pitiful or boring life and wants some "excitement" in their life. Please, if Twilight was meant for excitement, there wouldn't be so much hatred for it. I mean the series is entertainable, I guess, but it's so pitiful due to characterization and plot? Hell, it's non-existence. I mean it's basically the BAD version of Romeo and Juliet. It's teeny bopper romance gone just horribly wrong and honestly, I have no freakin' clue why I am still fan to this day. If there was any intelligence (a rarity if you will), I think Twilight wouldn't have been published in the first place and this vampire craze wouldn't have started. Don't get me wrong, I love vampires. Honestly, I think they're pretty cool mythological creatures along with werewolves. But with the sparkles, it makes me think twice about the vampire characteristics. The linguistics of it is despiteful. I have to look up the characteristics just to see if I'm right because before I read Twilight, I always thought it was all about this: Undead, pale skin, fangs (depends I guess), and blood. Am I wrong? What do I think of the author Meyer herself: Honestly, as an author, she's pretty dry. I think she should of had at least put a bit more emphasis onto the Twilight series instead of make so "glamorous" and "perfect". Perfection is not reality. You can always expect everyone to believe that someone or something is perfect. And the addition of dependence doesn't make a book; it makes it worse. Women are dependent people just as much as Men are. It's seem degrading for it to happen. It's like we should relay on Men who are strong, truthful, and caring when in reality, there are idiots out there who are cruel, deceitful jerks that prey upon women like as if they were nothing and then, true, there are those who are sincere, respectful, and true to women. Meyer, in her own mind, did not portray or claimed to not have portray it in that way;when in fact she did. It's so ironic that she says that because it's true. She did that way probably to imitate us or just to be the typical woman she is (I'm not going to say in order to risk my account). Sometimes I wonder what goes through her head from day to day. Out of the all of the damn money she's making, it'll take a miracle for her to go into debt. Oh well, I can't complain. A List of Me: -Obsessed with Harry Potter (Yes I'm Team Harry. Get over it, Twi-tards.) -Becomes a RABID and Enraging Kurama fangirl when needed. -Occasionally writes when bored or when she's in the mood. -Loves Calvin and Hobbes, the comics. (It sucks that they're not being made anymore.) -Favortie colors: Purple, Light Green, Blue, Neon Red, Black, and Silver -Is a Gaia-addict at times. Oh dear. xD -Prefers College Football over NFL. Sorry folks. -Role-Plays like a nutcase. xD Note: I have several roleplay characters. Some of them are on my friend,Allessaria Marie 's profile. I'll make a list as soon as possible. Come to think of it, I need to one of these days. Well tada for now, Diamond Marie Udasaki (this is one of my rp characters, literally.) |
