Poll: What is your favorite version of The Phantom of the Opera? Vote Now! |
![]() Author has written 6 stories for Phantom of the Opera. Hi! I'm a huge lover of the Phantom of the Opera (the 2004 movie version is my favorite, but Sierra Boggess and Ramin Karimloo are great too) and I love writing stories that will make it so Erik and Christine finally get together. I love writing both shorter one-shots and long chapter stories. My personal favorite of what I've written? Colliding, hands down. I almost began to cry when I wrote the second chapter, it was so tender. I don't know... just the fact of Erik seeing Christine after so long and PREGNANT with a DAUGHTER sends this hurt-y feeling in my heart :/ But anyway, if you care to check out any of my stories, check out that one, and please comment! OR any one, doesn't matter to me :) Just please comment, they make my day! Love Never Dies: Don't even get me STARTED on this... play. Ugh, just no. First of all, it certainly does not have the touching feeling that POTO had, as it was purely done for money. POTO never needed a sequel. Leave that for phanfiction writers. Second of all... RAOUL AS A DRUNK???? NO!!!!! It can't work that way. Raoul would never do a thing like that Just... no. THIRD... CONEY ISLAND??!!! It's called The Phantom of the OPERA. Therefore it should be an OPERA HOUSE. I'm sorry if I offended anyone, but this is purely my opinion, and I am just raving and ranting. Forgive me. Just a side note: Many of my story titles are based o song lyrics/titles, like from Wicked, Les Mis, or POTO. Or even some regular songs :) My loves: Playing the piano (especially POTO songs!), singing, and hanging out with friends. Colliding: What Christine wore in the beginning of the fifth chapter: (the short-sleeved purple one, near the top) Colliding: What Christine's hair was like: My Characters: (these are what my characters are based on) Christine Daae: To me, Christine Daae is a unique character. She isn't very sure, having growing up believing in everything her Angel says. She is very easily confused: I'm not saying that she's dumb (I actually think she's quite intelligent) just that she is so innocent, she believes everything everyone says. Writing her dialogue is a VERY easy thing to do for me, because I can relate (no, there hasn't been an Erik in my life yet). Erik: Do I have to explain him? It's going to take, like, twenty pages. But he's my movie crush and I'll always love him :) I tend to lean more towards the 2004 Gerik, just because I never really wanted Erik to be so old that he dies halfway into his marriage with Christine. Plus, he's very handsome in this, and, although there is controversy about his distortion, I think it did the job. With this smaller deformation, I think it emphasized the fact that to Christine, it was never about his face; it was the fact that he murdered and lied to her. And he tends to forget that. Raoul: (scroll down a little-- you'll find him!) (Sorry Patrick Wilson, the long hair just wasn't my fav) I never thought that Raoul should be the bad rapist dude. He just wants his girl and there's an interfering maniac. He's really nice... and, I actually feel bad for all the bashing that has been done to him. He doesn't deserve it: Erik was the one that murdered. It actually kind of makes me mad at Christine, because she puts him through this instead of just saying "no". She HAS to make a big deal about it and draw him into the world of the Phantom of the Opera. Charlotte (from Colliding): Second picture down/ last full sized little-girl picture on that page. Charlotte is probably the smartest character I have ever created. She is Erik's and Christine's daughter, and even though she is only a toddler, she has her opinions to and lets people know about it. She's straight to the point. Like, for example "Mama he loves you" (talking about Erik). Favorite characters from Phantom of the Opera in order: 1. Erik 2. Christine 3. Raoul 4. Madame Giry 5. Meg 6. Andre 7. Firmin 8. Piangi 9. Ummm... the cymbal monkey? Jk, I like him :) 10. Carlotta 1. Have you read a five/ten fic before? Who would write about THAT? 2. Do you think three is hot? How hot? He needs to cute his hair. I'd stand at the same point of view as Christine on that one :) 3. What would happen if six got one pregnant? I don't think Erik can get pregnant. Besides, he would NEVER have sex with anyone but Christine :) 4. Do you recall any good fics about nine? Ooooh, good idea! I really want to write a story about the Cymbal Monkey. I'm gonna go do that now. 5. Would seven and two make a good couple? Erik would kill him. 6. Four/eight or four/nine? Four/ Nine. Madame Giry doesn't deserve Carlotta's boyfriend so she's stuck with the cymbal monkey. She's through with marriage, I think. 7. What would happen if seven discovered three and eight in a secret relationship? I don't know what to say, honestly. 8. Make a summary of at least twenty words for a two/six fic. Andre sees Christine sing for the first time and begins to court her. But then Erik and Andre's wife make a plan to kill him. And they do. Christine never really loved him (sorry Andre!) 9. Is there a such thing as a four/ten romantic fluff story? No. And I'll never make one, either. 10. Suggest a title for a one/five Hurt/Comfort fic. Captive/ Another Angel (personally, I midly dislike fics like that. E&C is the only pairing for me, sorry!) 11. What kind of plot would you use if four wanted to seduce one? Christine is gone, but Madame Giry is still there... and Erik realizes everything she did for him. 12. Does anyone on your friends list read number seven/nine slash? No. I don't think one exists, but if it did, I know one of them that would after I suggest it to her. ;) 13. If you wrote a songfic about number one, what song would you chose? Would Angel of Music/ The Phantom of the Opera be cheating? 14. If you wrote a two/three/six fic, what would the warning be? Extreme violence (Erik ripping the other two apart) and sexual content (Christine and Raoul, ya know?) 15. What pick-up line might eight use on five? "I can see there's no rules about cleavage for the dress code, is there?" |
