Title: Like a Dream Come True

Chapter 1: Arrival

As we were waiting for our luggage, I looked around and thought to myself saying that maybe this summer vacation wouldn't be that bad as I thought it would be. Philippines would be great. As my Mom got all of our luggages, we went outside of the airport and waited for our relatives to come pick us up. I was sweating of the heat and plus, I was wearing my favorite skinny jeans.

10 minutes passed...

"Where are they?!" Mom asked

Each car kept passing by and none of them were our relatives. My sisters and I were getting frustrated with the heat. We weren't used to the weather as usual. It was our third time visiting the Philippines. Out of nowhere, my cousin Freddy popped out of nowhere. I was wondering who he was because he looked way different the last time I saw him. He was talking to my Mom in their language. Freddy took our carts and pushed them towards our ride to their home. Freddy didn't even say hi to us which was rude so we just kept walking behind. As we were walking, I saw my two niece Jane and Lucy. The last time I saw them was 4 years ago. They looked the same as two beautiful girls. As we came to our ride, I saw my uncle Jonny and my auntie Tina. As the same, they both looked the same. When they were putting the luggages in the van they rented, my sisters and I went inside the van.

As we were driving, I was trying to understand what my Mom and Auntie were talking about. I tried to but I failed as usual. The ride to their home was about half an hour so I just looked out the window to see the outside of Philippines. As soon as we reached our destination, I was getting nervous of what everything would like for the next month. When everyone was getting the luggages out of the van, my little sister and I went ahead to the house. When my sisters and I came inside the house, I was surprised of what I saw. The walls were painted light blue and new furnitures. The last time I visited this place, everything was different. My other cousin who was there Melanie was happy to see us.

"Oh, sit down, sit down. Don't be shy!" Melanie told us.

Most of our cousins were at the age of 16-30 years old so it was kinda akward to be with them. We sat down on the red couch. As the guys were getting our luggages out of the van and putting them onto the porch, everyone looked happy to see us.

"So how are you?" Melanie as my mom.

"Oh, everything is alright. It's so hot!" Mom replied.

"You'll get used to it." Melanie said.

"I know we will." Mom said.

Suddenly the phone rang. My mom picked up the phone.

"Hello?" Mom asked.

"Hello."

"Oh, Papa!" Mom exclaimed.
