Like Hi!

Hi my names alyssa and thats like all u need to know. I am a CrAzY awesome person & i'm like ADDICTED to the twilight series and music. I love pop/rock. My main favorite bands are Bowling for soup/simple plan/ JB/pAramore. I like skye sweetnam, and i like the song love song, i am addicted to the song IRIS. I am currently working on a 'book'ish thing called 'Story of a Girl'. It's about a girl who moves and she has to go to a new school and all that. It's like twilight only no monsters. So here's what i've got so far.

I stared out the window as we drove to my new school. It’s the second week in the second semester and I’m in the tenth grade. I glanced over in the mirror and pulled a few lose strands of hair back into a clip. My white tee shirt with the alphabet and guitar pick necklace looked trashy compared to the tight baby doll tops and skinny jeans the other kids were wearing. I leaned forward and moaned. My stomach had been in knots all morning. “Mom, don’t make me do this.” She looked at me with this “you’re fine, suck it up” look. “Jamie you’re going to be fine.” I glared at her and put my hand on the door handle. “No, mom,” I said as I got out, “I won’t.” I walked away as a teacher shut the car door. My little brother pulled on my jeans. “Jamie, walk me to my class!” I sighed; I don’t even know where my class is. “Okay Alex, just this week.” He started to pout. I opened the office door. “Hi I’m Jamie Oxford, and this is Alex, were the new students.” She glanced up with a smile. “Oh! Miss Oxford, nice to meet you,” she said as she put together my schedule and some papers for my mom, “you are in Mr. Jones’ class, and Alex you’re in Miss Cranberry’s class.” She handed me the papers and a map. I glanced at it secretly hoping I wouldn’t have to carry it around glued to my face. I stared at the floor as I walked Alex to his class. “Hola Alex, I am like so happy to meet you, you’re so cute,” she said way too excitedly, and then she looked at me, “You must be so lucky to have such a great big sister.” Lady you’re insane I thought as I gave her a quick smile. I waved to Alex as I walked back down the hallway, and that’s when I saw him. His face was beautiful. He had bronze-orange hair and dark brown eyes. Our eyes locked, and I quickly looked down. I tried to resist the urge to stare. I glanced up. He was gone. “What?” I was greeted at the door of room 205 by an insanely handsome man. “Hello miss oxford, I’m Mr. Ryan Jones.” I almost didn’t realize I was staring. “Oh, Hi Mr. Jones.” He chuckled. Cool I thought, I have a superstar teacher. “Alrighty you can sit in the back table next to Renee.” I looked back to see a tall blonde girl leaning against the table. I walked in and all of a sudden all eyes were on me. All I could hear were mumbles and a lot of “HEY NEW GIRL!”, and “Wow a new girl!” I pulled my shirt down and set my bag down on the floor. I heard someone talk to me and I turned around to see a brown haired boy with super muscles and a sweet smile. “Hi?” I looked at him startled. “Sorry, Hi.” “I’m Jaret, and you are?” “Jamie.” “Where ya from Jamie?” “Atlantic Coast Prep.” He laughed, I smiled and turned around. “Don’t worry James you’ll love it here.” I could tell he was lying seeing I already hated it.

The first period bell rang after the school news was over. I looked at my schedule. Okay first period Spanish. I followed a group of girls to the Spanish room. “Hola como estas? Como se llama?” A tall tan-skinned man said to me. “Huh?” He smiled. “Hola I’m Senor Rodriguez.” “Hola Senor, I’m Jamie Oxford.” I said as I watched him go through a cabinet full of files. He seemed like a very flustered man. He pulled out a file and wrote my name on it. “Okay Jamie you can sit back there.” He said pointing to the back table. There sitting by himself was that beautiful boy I had seen earlier. I stared over in his direction as Mr. Rodriguez put together papers for me to do. The bell rang and I sat down. This mysterious boy looked up at me quickly and I noticed his deep blue eyes. He didn’t look back up once the rest of class. Jaret met me at the door. “So you have to sit next to Kevin McPherson?” I tried to hide my smile. “Yea, is he usually shy?” Jaret looked at me confused. “Kevin doesn’t do any talking. Nothing can get him to talk; one kid said his parents beat him, so he doesn’t bother making friends. So what class do you have next?” I laughed. “Gym.” Jaret seemed too eager to walk with me to gym; it was pretty obvious he had an insane crush on me.

A huge gust of wind blew out the door as we entered the gym. I ducked just in time as a red dodge ball flew past me. “Close one new girl.” I heard Jaret say as he put his hands on my shoulders and gave me a shake. I glared at him and walked over to the bleachers. A group of girls were talking and one noticed me. “Hey you’re the newbie,” Said the brown haired one, “I’m Jessica.” I smiled as she motioned for me to sit next to her. “Hey, I’m Jamie.” The red head and Blondie smiled. “I’m Sydney,” the red head said and as she pulled her curly hair back she said, “And she’s Missy.” Missy smiled and adjusted her hot pink track suit jacket. “So you’re from ACP?” I glanced up at her. “Yea.” “That’s cool; Abbey’s going there next year.” She said as she pointed up as a blond girl wearing a volleyball jacket. “OKAY EVERYBODY LISTEN UP!” I flew around to see a tall man standing there swinging a whistle. “WE’RE PLAYING ULTIMATE FOOTBALL.” I moaned to myself seeing everyone else loves it. I looked over at Tad; he was my mom’s friend’s brother. He had black curly hair like Nick Jonas. Coach Lowman called Tad and Elliot over to be captains. Coach placed everyone on the teams; thankfully I was on Tad’s team. Elliot was nice but he was that one person that was OVERLY nice, who follows you around and is constantly trying to help when you don’t need it. Ultimate was really boring because like literally all I did was run up and down the gym, and the one time I got the ball thrown to me and flung my self to catch it and fell flat on my face. Instantly Jaret ran over and freaked, “OMIGOSH, are you okay, ah your nose is bleeding!” He ran over and got me a napkin. I sat there looking like an idiot with it glued to my face, when I noticed Kevin. He was staring at me. I could tell he was hiding a laugh, I noticed his eyes had this rage in them. Our eyes locked and he glared at me at put his head down. Well he seems lovely, what is his problem I thought. After gym I headed upstairs and ran into Mrs. T., my moms friend who works with the handicap kids. “HEY!” I ran toward her and she gave me a hug. “Hey how’s it going? How do you like it James?” I smiled sarcastically. “Uh well, good I guess, and who is this?” I said as I looked down at the little boy in a wheelchair. “This is William, say hi will.” He smiled at me, and my heart jumped he was adorable! “Hi.” He said I chuckled. “Hey, William! I’m Jamie.” I turned around when I heard Mr. Jones call me in to get my stuff, and I hurried to English. I stared at the Smart Board and pondered over the assignments, three to five page report on the Holocaust, GREAT I thought. Missy motioned for me to come over where she was. “Hey you can sit behind me, and we have our journals.” I smiled as I sat in the desk behind her and pulled out my blue camo journal. ‘What would the best day ever be?’ I dug through my polka-dot book bag and pulled out my pen. I considered it good luck, that and my guitar pick necklace that Marie Powers gave me.

I stood up and gazed around the back of the room looking for the journal basket. Mrs. Christopher pointed back to a blue crate that said ‘First Period’. I sat back down and listened as she gave instructions for the Library café. “Okay the three going today is Missy, Jessica, Maggie and Jamie you can go today. Maggie can show her everything?” I glanced over at a brown haired girl, she was wearing a navy sweatshirt and her hair was pulled back, definitely a tomboy. “Hey I’m Maggie, welcome to Johns Island High. So whose homeroom are you in? I’m in Mrs. Harmony’s homeroom; she’s the social studies teacher.” I smiled. “I’m in Mr. Jonas’ homeroom.” She nodded. “Okay,” she said as we entered a small room with sea themed murals, “You can take a drink, and snack and follow me back to the game room.” I looked around at the straw curtains and the fish and the fake bamboo and everything, insanely overwhelming! I stared at the three baskets of random snacks, snickers, teddy grahams, fruit rollups, and some other stuff. I grabbed a water bottle and went to find Maggie, she was sitting at a table with Missy playing chess, so I went and sat with Jessica and played connect four. 15 minutes later the librarian told us we had to go back. I snatched up my water and followed them back. After English I walked over to Math, and looked around. The room was originally a science lab, but instead it was for math. I walked up to Mrs. Foeman, “Hi, I’m Jamie Oxford.” She smiled as she looked up. I would say early to mid fifty’s, she had poofy hair and a sweet smile. “Hello Miss Oxford,” she said as she looked around, “You can sit behind Delia.” She pointed to a black girl, not to sound racist, she was heavy set and she looked mean. She glared at me, but also half grinned. I set my stuff down and ran to the bathroom. I stood in front of the mirror and fixed my hair. I stared at myself and walked away, I hate it here, it’ll never get better I thought. I walked back into class and Mrs. Foeman gave me instructions for the bell work. I stared up at the projector in bewilderment. Math. I HATE MATH. Thirteen and one sixth times three and four sixteenths. I don’t think so. The day progressed with a boring science lecture on the circulatory system and I was ready to scream. I stared, well no I’d say more of I GLARED, at Mr. Jones. He looked up, which startled me, “Okay guys line up.” I was in shock. LINE UP!? They use LINES! I stood behind Missy and in front of Jess. I reached into my pocket to make sure no one stole my lunch money, good it’s still there I thought. As I stood in the insanely long line, which kept getting longer because everyone kept cutting me, I glanced around the room nervously looking for Kevin. I spotted him eating by himself. I grabbed my tray and walked toward him, but he caught my eye. He glared at me and watched as I walked quickly toward Tad, Jaret, Jess, Maggie, and Missy. Missy smiled as I sat down. “So what was that all about?” I shot Jaret a quick look meaning to say help, “What,” I said as I turned to glance over at Kevin, “him? Oh, I don’t know exactly.” She leaned her head sideways and looked at me with the ‘Oh-Really-you-sure?’ look. I shook my head and listened to Tad talk to us about his plans for spring break next week. After school I walked over to my Nissan. I stopped dead in my tracks when I saw HIM standing there. He smiled at me. I walked slowly, what did he want? “Hi?” He shook his head.
