![]() Author has written 1 story for Harry Potter. "Start writing, no matter what. The water does not flow until the faucet is turned on." Quote by Louis L'Amour Status: Finally uploaded my first story! It's so exciting! Oh? Someone is actually interested enough to read my profile? How flattering! Maybe. Unless you're some kind of troll on the lovely invention that we know as the internet. Or maybe you're just curious as to who read and reviewed your story? Bleh. I'm rambling now because I'm just that awesome. Anyways - before I go into another ramble about absolute nonsense - I should probably greet you. Heya! How are you on this fine day? (Ha! Someone can answer that even if they just woke up or pulling an all-nighter since they still went through the process of having a "day"!) Okay... I have to admit if you are still reading this I am highly impressed. Honest. I don't know how many people actually enjoy reading other's profiles or if that is even done. I'm pretty lame though and a complete beginner (or "noob") at this site known as FanFiction. However, I would hate to leave this little part blank so I decided I should actually spend some of my time to write something in it. My real name - rather you like it or not - will remain unknown. Sorry kiddies but this is still the internet and it's not exactly safe to give that away. You may, however, call my Aislin. The "Lady" part of my username was just something I decided to include was for more style. I guess. I don't know. Or maybe it was my way to let others know I'm actually a female? You know what I'm done rambling! The point of the little paragraph above is just to inform you all to call me Aislin if you ever want to contact me. Which brings me to my next point. I am perfectly fine with befriending people on this site. In fact, I'm hoping to find some other writers who enjoy reading and writing just like I do. I'm pretty strange though, but I am nice! Another thing that should be known about me is that I just graduated High School in 2014. So, while my writing isn't the best, I hope it still brings some emotion in your hearts. I'm not trying to bring myself down but it is the truth. Sometimes I struggle with writing and quite frankly, I'm sure we all do. However, the thing that I learned is giving up is not an option(thank you my precious Naru-chan)! I can't promise that I'll update my stories regularly. And I can't promise that it will be within an reasonable time. I am rather hard on myself about my writing since I truly believe everyone can increase their writing skills. I have been known to writing out a whole chapter and disliking it the second I begin to reread it. That brings up the complicated situation that I hate putting myself in. Refusal. I refuse to put up a chapter that I hold dislike in... well unless it's for a certain character. I know most people want someone who can write non-stop and update regularly but that is something I can not do - so I will not make that promise. I do have a life after all. That doesn't mean I hate writing though. I actually enjoy it and always fall back on it when I need some time to release stress. It's pretty funny though... When I was younger I hated writing with a passion. I mean really hated it. I suppose that's because I never really took time out of my (oh so busy) schedule to actually think about it. Writing is definitely something magical. It forces people to feel emotions when the words are used correctly. Not only that, but it allows the writer to bring characters, cities, countries, creatures, and plots to life. Anything you dream - if you have the right equipment - can come to life. All someone needs is a writing utensil, paper, and an imagination. My stories: The Battle of Hogwarts AU. Calliope Elizabeth Reid is a muggle-born student who attended Hogwarts despite the war against her kind. She is merely a fifth year when Harry Potter and his gang return to Hogwarts to finish off the war. Will she be able to survive with her friends? Or will the war finish her off just like her family? |
