Author has written 3 stories for Grave of the Fireflies, and Harry Potter. About Wonderful, Little, Humble Me Well, since you're looking at this, you probably want to know about me. I'm a half-German, half-English 17 year old girl living in the UK, as I have done for most of my life. Which is the reason I will probably never attempt to write a fic in German, in fear of butchering the language with my low-level grammar. Eurgh. At least I have a vague idea of what I am doing with English. Dabbled in a large number of fandoms over the years, mostly anime (see the list below), though haven't written that much myself... but at least I picked up some skills by analyzing fics to death. I like analyzing stuff. In fact, come to think of it, that's probably the reason why one of my fics is a 'alternative perspective' fic, and the other a sort of character analysis. Ah well. Either way, this obsession has led me to apply to do Psychology at Uni next year, though currently I have no idea where that will end. On pairings... I have no preferences. Seriously. Write anything you like. As long as it's kept in character, is reasonably plausible plotwise (though this can be ignored for AUs), and is, of course, well written. Then I will enjoy it. Not picky, am I? I'm absolutely terrible when it comes to updating fics, as I'm sure you can tell by looking at 'A Mother's Love'. My record speaks for itself. Really. No hyperbole necessary. Let us see if I can do better with future ventures. Some of Koanashi's Fandoms I say some because by the time I update this again, I'll probably have a whole load more! And I don't really want to bore you with a long list. So I've tried to explain why I like it as well. And only add the ones I'm really obsessed with in the here and now. One Piece - rediscovered it a few months ago. I can't believe I stopped short of the Enies Lobby arc. Which I love to death now. CP9 are some of my favorite characters in OP. Though I like a lot of character in OP. But CP9 are just awesome. I'll probably write a fic about them, if I can ever come up with a plot that won't butcher them (and doesn't conflict with the cover story that's coming out at the moment) Les Miserables - planning on reading the novel, but am only really familiar with a musical at the moment. Which I adore - I own the 10th anniversary DVD, the Complete Symphonic and Original London Cast CDs, and saw it at the Queen's Theatre for the first time on stage in 2008. Haven't actually looked at this fandom much, but I might post some of my own fics. I have got a few plot bunnies already. Let's see if they survive the test of time, and then who knows what will become of them. Sweeney Todd - a friend of mine introduced me to it a few months before the film started to register on the radar for me. I loved it - watched the entire in concert version with George Hearn and Patti LuPone, and adored it. I went to see the film on early release in the UK, after buying the soundtrack, since I also adore Tim Burton's other films, and was confident I would love it. Pre-ordered the DVD. Not really done much with this fandom either... ah well. Tsubasa Chronicles - I like XXXHOLiC too, of course. CLAMP have always had a special place in my heart. I'll probably start having plot bunnies for TCR once the manga is complete... which looks like it will be some time soon, no? Good thing too, because I've started collecting it and will need SOME money for Uni XD Works by Koanash A Mother's Love Section: Anime, Grave of the Fireflies Well. A lot of requests have been made. The second chapter IS up now, finally, but it'll take rewatching AGAIN to reassure that the third is half decent. This is another one that hasn't seen an update in a while. Will probably redraft this as well. I dare say my skills as a writer have improved some over the past years XD Truce Section: Books, Harry Potter A one shot. I don't even like Draco Malfoy particularly. But I started to wonder about Draco's changed attitude towards Harry at the end of DH (no, not really a fan of the ending, but it IS canon, and that aspect interested). So decided to do my own slant on it. First time I updated my account in what? Two years? More? Don't remember. Sad. A Rat's Tale: The First Year Section: Books, Harry Potter Why do I write so much for fandom that isn't even listed in my favourites? In fact, none of the categories you find my fics in are listed above... shows the quick change of interest. But Harry Potter is a fandom I am quite familiar with, due to its immense bulk, and so often think about it purely from a fandom perspective, and what I would like to see written about. Like this one. Peter Pettigrew strikes me as a tragic figure, and I've always wondered what he was like before he got screwed up. As the title might suggest, I may well write a sequel fic detailing other years during and post-Hogwarts, depending on time and inspiration of course, and willingness to update. Which you will know by now, in my case, is weak. What is Koanashi currently doing instead of writing fics like she keeps promising herself to? I'm currently applying to university, doing a lot of coursework and essay writing, revision for upcoming exams, and other boring stuff. |
