![]() Author has written 2 stories for MediEvil, and Game of Thrones. I write. I paint. I stick this same description on all my online profiles. I'm Shannon. When I'm not getting distracted with events I make up in my head to get stressed about that never happen in real life, I write fiction. Of all types, pretty much - except for romance and erotica, I'm afraid. So if you're looking for a Fifty Shades Fanfic, LOOK ELSEWHERE. I mostly specialise in high fantasy - of the silly kind. Like, prophecies being heralded by flying cats that aren't crucial to the plot except for the fact that they fly around a bit after someone said it would, and magic puddles that change the gender of the person that fell into it, and most notably the way Daenerys Targaryen just fell into a camp fire after tripping on one of her dragon eggs. Yeah. But there are storylines, in so far as there can be when they distort like a pond reflection during a rain shower during writing and become something else entirely in the space of a couple months. And when I'm not plotting out a deviation from my next novel, I write one of two fanfics: Fire and Mud: a Game of Thrones Parody and Medievil One and a Half: the Untold Story. The latter can bloody well wait until I've finished the ones people are actually reading: which are my original novels Rosethorn and Black Streak (some of which is on Fiction Press, although Black Streak has been revamped since then and looks completely different). I also have a DeviantArt page full of artwork and crap, not to mention journal entries that are like short novels, haha. And me myself? I'm twenty, but I'm told I give off the online aura of a forty year old woman sitting at an antique mahogany writing desk reading Shakespeare and Poe with a pair of silver rimmed glasses. Oh, and I also whap children with a cane stick and read dark poetry to my ten cats at night. Don't know how I got a fan who linked the Holy Flying Cat to that kind of sophisticated creepiness, but OK. Stick a review on something if you liked it, wherever you may have found it, and come say hi via private messaging, because I don't get to make many friends sitting at a coffee table with masses of paper and the blinds open a crack. |
