Yeah, it's been a while, but I'm considering going back into literature! I just want to get something straight though:
The Dusk Series has officially been put to rest.
The Dusk Series was originally meant to be Twilight done properly. I was wrong.
I cannot write a vampire story, and my series just kept on drifting off the point.
Keep in mind the Dusk Team will stick around, Nevin, Monica and the lot, just in different roles completely.
This brings me to the next announcement; my new series.
It probably won't be, but if I get enough people pestering me, it might come through. Thing is, Fanfiction needs a theme for the story. I want to actually base this upon a series though, so more people will be interested. I have a few ideas in mind. here they are:
.Pokemon(game, not anime)
.Minecraft
.Kingdom Hearts
.Harry Potter
.Zombie apocalypse
.Portal
Now remember, my series will be based upon the world of the series', not the storyline or characters, looking at Harry Potter and Kingdom Hearts in particular. I will add in my own main characters, some of which we must say goodbye to.
1.Drath- Consider him a Dusk Series exclusive, plus it just would be too difficult to write his backstory.
2.Janette-She was just a character I wanted to use to use to make Nevin's past seem like a lie. I didn't even want her to become a series staple.
3.Genny-Oh dear GOD. I wanted to use this character for a big moment, then once I created her I wanted to kill her off as quick as possible. I wanted to make her a love interest for Ben in a future installment of the Dusk Series, but I finished it too quickly.
At last, my final announcement: The end chapter to Dusk Mountain.
I apologise. It was hurried to no end. I finished it when my writing partner drove me mad about finishing it. I now understand why Mass Effect 3 ended horribly. And on that dark note, I finish my essay-like speech.
