Wally doesn't have a great family life. All his mother wants is a normal family. His father blames him for everything wrong. Yet, he's dealing with. However, this night is father is hitting harder than ever and Wally is actually afraid. He runs to his friend's city but can't get in contact with the bird. From there Everything goes down hill. Days later, Wally wakes up in a hospital

Wally can't seem to get a break. Between school and home, the only place he feels like himself is at Mount Justice. When a simple mission goes astray though, things begin to unravel around him. Will his Uncle and best friend be able to help him, or only be pulled into the fray with him?

The Shadows want answers. They think Kid Flash has them. Wally goes through torture from the Shadows so the can obtain that information. Does Kid Flash really have the information? Or are the Shadows just playing with him to get to the League?

Flash comes to Mt. Justice looking for Wally, but finds Dick instead. As they talk they soon become concerned by Kid Flash's absence. After all Wally never misses a free meal. So they team up to track down the missing speedster.
