Author has written 1 story for Yu-Gi-Oh. Hi everyone! I am Asian_Orange Update time! Okay so here's the thing, I have five million stories in the making, but for some reason...I NEVER FINISH THEM...so I'll try to get them finished, or at least post...one chapter of SOMETHING...but...eh...I'm not making any promises. Some things I like are British humor, food, the show "Coupling" and "Friends", British humor, the Radio show "The Mastersons", British Humor...hahaha...get the pattern? I think British humor is hilarious...I love it... Have you noticed how there are some preconceived notions about certain canon that everyone in the fandom automatically thinks is true when there hasn't been any sign in the canon that it is? Like Remus having amber eyes or gray eyes when it's never stated, or that Draco is hot even though the books tell us that he is weasel-y at best, or Gillette being gay in Pirates of the Caribbean. If anyone has any more ideas that are seen as true in fandom but not necessarily in fandom, I would like to know, I'm kinda keeping a tally. Update!: So...these fics of Snitch and Skittery...I have nothing against the people who like the pairings or anything like that, but where do these people FIND this pairing? And how did it get so popular? I mean Snitch and Skittery were never together in the film I don't think...ever...like...alone, or going off together...ever...I mean maybe if it was Specs, or...Bumlets, even Swifty or Racetrack! But not Snitch...Jack/David I can understand, Mush/Blink I can understand, Specs/Dutchy I can understand, even David/Denton I can understand...but I just can't understand Snitch/Skittery. I guess it's just something I can't see. I do have some fandoms that I lurk around: Saiyuki, Fruits Basket, Hellsing, Pirates of the Caribbean, LOTR, Phantom of the Opera, Harry Potter to name a few. I've been obsessed about Newsies recently though...I love the Newsies, and Newsies fanfiction is especially great considering the fans don't know that much about the characters and there is so much room for authors to take creative liberties. I've been working on a Newsie fanfic with a friend so hopefully that'll be put up here. Some favorite characters of mine, plus some favorite pairings: Harry Potter: Harry, Ron, Hermione, Draco, Snape, Dumbledore, Remus, Sirius Lord of the Rings: All the fellowship, even Boromir, Faramir, Eomer, Eowyn, Arwen, Elrond, Elladan and Elrohir, Glorfindel Phantom of the Opera: The Phantom aka Erik Destler, Christine when written well, Meg, Madame Giry, even Raoul-poor guy Pirates of the Caribbean: Scruffy!Norrington and regular Norrington, I list both since they have different personalities, Jack Sparrow, Mr. Gibbs, Pintel, Ragetti, the dog with the keys, Gillette, Groves Saiyuki: Sanzo, Hakkai, Goku...poor Gojyo...he's not my favorite but I do find him funny Fruits Basket: Hatori, Shigure, Ayame, Tohru, Yuki, Kyo, Haru, Momiji Hellsing: Alucard, Integra, Walter, Pip Yu-Gi-Oh: I just have to throw this one in here considering my first fic up is a one-shot in this fandom, Anime!Kaiba, Anime!Yugi, Anime!Mokuba, Joey, Ryou Newsies: Skittery, Spot, Swifty, Jack, Mush, Blink, Race I'll be putting up fics soon I hope! |
