I'm a HUGE Harry Potter fan. I was addicted to the books at one point. I have to say, I did read the series seven times back to back. So...I know quite a lot of trivia. HP fan fics are my favorite things to read when I'm bored. The whole idea of HP is extraordinarily creative and brilliant. It is a great way to escape into an imaginative, different world from ours.

My older stories were COMPLETE RUBBISH, and I actually deleted like 6 of them. D: I apologize. But they were so sappy and poorly written that I had to get them away from me, you know? I still have them saved on my computer, for my own sanity. I probably guess that's what you get for going on a hiatus and coming back only to realize your writing is significantly different and the old kind pretty much...sucked.

I hadn't written in a very long time when I came back on. I have no excuses. I just didn't feel like it. And then I forgot. But now I'm back in FF thanks to reading a completely brill Harry Potter fanfic (hem hem, Commentarius by B.C Daily). So yes. I'm back. But I've got A LOT of cleaning up to do...

I just uploaded two new stories since my return. The first is called "A Guide to Writing Common Lily & James Fanfiction." It's pretty much all the things in L/J fics summed up in a parody. Check it out if you'd like. I've also posted "Peach Pie With Added Sugar." Let me know what you think!

Oh my dear friends, now let us get on to The Shoebox Project. what is that supposed to mean?, you ask. Haha, well, it is a title fellow FanFictioners. A title to an amazing story that i discovered. The Shoebox Project: a story about Remus/Sirius and James/Lily. I am not one for slash, let me just say first off. I mostly like slash in parodies but not hardcore slash, understand? So I was a little apprehensive at first. I read a couple reviews saying that this was the one fic that people read that hated slash! And they adored it. I was interested. I searched for the story and was quite puzzled because it was in a completely different format than I ever understood. I began to read. The chapters are extraordinarily long! I soon became bored with its first chapter because the vocabulary is a little intense at first. But then I began to become fond of the following chapters. There was so much humor arising! Then I simply became obsessed. The humor! The romance! The pranks! It was too much! ;) I found myself chuckling out loud, not being able to contain myself! I began to wonder where Remus/Sirius would come in because it was not there for the majority of the story. When it did come in however, I didn't even mind it! I knew what those reviews meant when they said that this slash did not bother them. They were telling the truth. And don't even get me started about Lily/James. Amazing. Simply one of the best Lily/James I have read as well. This is a story in its own category. So well-written. Plus the illustrations are drawn so well too! I simply love it. Just having finished the last chapter posted, I am wondering if it will ever be updated again because it is not finished. I hope so. It's so good to be left not done :( If any of you have discovered SBP from this post and wish to read it, DO IT. You will not be sorry.
