So according to Dell this is the first of its size.
With a whopping 17” touch screen
This laptop or ultra notebook has plenty of screen space
It has a discrete graphics card meant for basic gaming
And a very modern brushed aluminum design.

This giant machine comes in 4 different configurations with a starting price point of $899

The starting model comes standard with a 6th generation Intel Core i5 processor While the other models come standard with Intel Core I7 processor Windows 10 Home is the operating system with the option to upgrade to Windows 10 Pro.

The models come with either 12 or 16GB Memory a
1TB hard drive on the first 2 base models. A 1TB hard drive a 128GB Solid State Drive on the 3rd model and on the higher model a 512GB Solid State Drive

The standard video card for all models is the NVIDIA GeForce 940MX 2GB GDDR5

Not too shabby at this price point, however, you'll definitely want something better for more gaming power. I would not recommend this laptop if you're specifically looking for a gaming machine.

If you're in the market for gaming I would recommend you look into the XPS line or the Alienware line which is designed for high performance gaming.

The Display is a 17.3-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) Truelife LED-Backlit Touch Display with Wide Viewing Angles and I'll tell you, I've tested the display for both, photo and video editing and this machine does the job.

The battery life has definitely improved in these latest models. According to Dell you can get Up to 9 hours 57 minutes with the Intel Core i5-6200U CPU and stepping down to 6 hrs 46 mins when fully maxed out with options with the Intel Core i7-6500 CPU, 12 GB DDR4 mem, 256 GB Solid State drive, and FHD touch display.

Standard backlit keyboard on all configurations.

Standard Hard drive is a 1TB 5400 rpm hard drive for the first two entry models, while the third model comes standard with the 1TB 5400 rpm hard drive a 128GB Solid State Drive and the fourth model comes standard with a 512GB Solid State Drive

Standard ports are:

HDMITM 1.4a
1 USB type C
1 USB 3.0 with PowerShare
1 USB 2.0
AND A MEDIA CARD READER (SD, SDHC, SDXC)

PLUS A NOBLE LOCK SLOT

The dimensions are as follows:

Height: .87” to .89” or 22.1mm to 22.6 mm
Width: 16.24”
And depth: 10.93”

The weight starts right about 2.77kg or 6.12 lbs

All models come standard with 802.11 ac Bluetooth 4.2, dual band 2.4&5 Ghz 1x1 for all your wireless connectivity

The primary battery is a 56 WHR, 4-cell integrated battery.

So this is it The Dell Inspiron 17 7000 2-in-1 Laptop. Great machine for work or play, watching videos, Netflix, Youtube, multimedia applications. Beautiful design and great for the family.

But as I said earlier, if you're looking for a serious gaming machine, this is definitely not the one for you.
