![]() Author has written 22 stories for Avatar: Last Airbender, Earth 2, Forgotten Realms, Lost, Misc. Tv Shows, and Supernatural. UPDATED 9-29-17-- Time for a new update!!! Yes, I'm still here! Yes, I still read reviews, so please review! I write romance as Leigh Daley and currently have one book out and one book coming out. Check out Amazon for me: Lifebound (a skater meets an energy vampire) and "Love's Magick" (a mage falls for a human), one of three stories inside Midwinter Healing. Both are in the Wiccan Haus paranormal series. They are a little on the steamy side. That blog is www.leighdaleywrites.blogspot.com. My Arley Cole book, The Blacksmith's Daughter, is out of print. :( Give me a little time, though and I'll have it back out there, possibly with a sequel, The Merchant's Son. That blog is www.arleycole.blogspot.com. Yes, I know I need a better website. Someday. But I still write fanfiction and will always write fanfiction. I love this stuff. Some of my best work as a writer is posted on this site. That's just the truth. Writing fanfiction allows me to play in someone else's sandbox for a while and that is very refreshing and energizing. On my computer I have a River/10th Doctor fic and a Deadpool fic that I've worked on just to satisfy myself. If someone else reads my fanfiction and likes it, then I am over the moon. So three cheers for fanfiction! Okay, a little about my obsessions: MAYHEM!: I love Dean Winters. I do. He's so sexy and so funny! So when I saw a Mayhem commercial followed by a Werther's candy commercial, I got the crazy idea for an urban romance between those two characters. Watch Battle Creek on Netflix to meet more of your Dean Winters needs. LOST: Okay, the word for the day is James "Sawyer" Ford. OMG. How much angst and sexiness can fit in one frequently shirtless package? Lost is a fabulous show full of weird and wonderful stuff (much like Earth2 by the way). I still miss it. FORGOTTEN REALMS: Artemis Entreri. 'Nuff said.--Oh, okay, here's more on my Forgotten Realms obsession. I do love Artemis Entreri. I have always loved Artemis Entreri even when he was an evil villain. And it's been such way fun to add to canon where he is concerned. There's so much left unsaid about him after Road of the Patriarch until he shows back up as Barrabus in Gauntylgrym. And I was seriously disappointed in Barrabus. So Divergence is my answer to that. I have to admit I had my doubts about him and Dwahvel as a pairing after Road of the Patriarch. But when I started exploring Dwahvel, I realized she was just exactly what he needed. And that she needed him. I hate that she's less present in Divergence, but am trying to keep her with him in his memory. UPDATE: You know I'm playing with a follow up to the tetralogy (had to look that one up!) that takes place about sixteen years after the end of Divergence. Hey, it could happen! AVATAR READERS: I'm a huge Zuko x Toph fan--as if you can't tell that from Land of Fire and Stone and Voice of the Earth. I was not satisified with Zuko and Mai ending up sort of together at the end of Season 3. I think Jet and Mai make a much more interesting couple. Yes, you heard me--Jet is not dead. He's alive and well and currently living in Omashu. Read Voice of the Earth if you don't believe me. I always thought the series needed to have four books. I guess I'm working on the same Fire, Earth, Water in Bender, that leaves only Air. Yep, there's an idea for Air floating in my brain. It's called The Last Skybison. Sooner or later I will get to it. After all, it's just not right that Appa is the last one. And I will not let that go unanswered!!! UPDATE: still turning over this one. Hey, it could happen! EARTH 2 READERS: What is not to love about that show?! We got so robbed by just having one season. They never got a chance to explore all the hints they dropped, so I decided to just do it for them by writing Season 2. I wanted to play with all those ideas and strange notions--especially the ones that seemed a bit on the far fetched side at first glance ("Flower Child"? Oh, please--we all said--but I think it was far more important than it seemed). The time investment in getting Devon out of cold sleep had to be believable (plus Debrah Farentino needed maternity leave!) and there was so much to do with that whole biochip, mysterious illness thing. We couldn't just wrap that up deus ex machina style. Also, as much as I want Danziger and Devon to discover that they are made for each other, I just don't see that as being something that the series would have done quickly. So I'm not going to rush it either. It's more fun that way. Anyhow, I'll have to be back writing new stuff because I left Zeke (the OC ZED--I just love him!) unconscious. I can't abandon him that way. UPDATE: actually started this one. Need to go back to it at least as a one shot. Hey, it could happen! And what do almost all of these have in common? You guessed it--Clancy Brown!! Clancy Brown provides the scary, but compelling voice of Long Feng in Ba Sing Se and also played curly haired mechanic John Danziger--I will stop there for fear of waxing eloquent. If you see me on the Buckaroo Banzai fanfic lists, you'll know I'm writing about Rawhide--who is also not dead, trust me. And did you notice Clancy Brown in Lost as Kelvin Inman?? See, Clancy Brown is in everything I love. When they make a Forgotten Realms movie, Clancy Brown will play a dwarf or disgruntled villager or something. You know I was watching Daredevil and sure enough, Clancy Brown showed up as Punisher's former commanding officer! It's all about Clancy Brown. SUPERNATURAL: Okay, this one has slowed to a crawl. That doesn't mean I won't finish it though, Daisy! Hey, it could happen! (It probably won't. I'm just not feeling it. I need to delete this one. Anyway, thanks for reading my stuff and sending me reviews. I look forward to feedback! Just knowing you're out there reading makes it that much more fun to do. So take a second and drop a note! |
