![]() Author has written 4 stories for Kuroko no Basuke/黒子のバスケ, and Naruto. Personal Info I am an aspiring writer who simply wants to make something awesome and enjoyable, always looking to create bigger and better. I hope you enjoy my stories and provide me with helpful reviews. I'm still learning, after all. Feel free to message me if you have any questions/queries/suggestions regarding my fanfic's. Future Fanfic Plans Just a quick note before you read on. The timeline of my stories is important, as they're part of the same series and thus all interconnected. That's not to say that the order in which I write them is the chronological order of the series. It goes like this: 'Bet Your Life' - early January, just after Seirin won the Winter Cup against Rakuzan (and before Kuroko's birthday). 'Sweeter Than Sugar' - mid-to-late January, close to ending of first year of high school, taking place within the timeline of 'All Because of a Bet' (before and during Kuroko's birthday). 'Your Very Worst' - mid-April, beginning of the second year of high school, training for the Inter-high Preliminaries to take place between June-August (June they start). This story takes place before and during the Inter-high Championship. Kise Ryouta's story - mid-to-late August, second year of high school. Takes place during and after the Inter-high Championship, and before and during the Winter Cup Preliminaries. Team Vorpal Shields - short story consisting of all canon and OC characters up to this point. Takes place after the Winter Cup Finals, during training and game against Team Jabberwock. Aomine Daiki's story - some scenes from end of second year of high school (March). Primarily takes place beginning of third year, before and during Inter-high Preliminaries. This fanfic will cover quite a large timeline; around 4-5 months. Any other ideas I have involving other members of the canon (i.e, Kagami and Kuroko) I might consider working on. I have briefly entertained the idea of a Kuroko x Momoi fanfic, and a Kagami x OC fanfic. But again, I have no real interest in these prospects at the moment. Right now I will focus on our beloved GOM members (excluding Kuroko) instead of undertaking even more complicated projects. All Because of a Bet: If you have been reading and keeping up-to-date with this fanfic involving the one Akashi Seijuro (who is most regrettably NOT owned by me) and Koizumi Setsuna, then thank you! I appreciate your spoken/unspoken support. I have big plans for this story; very big plans. Unfortunately, however, every time I go back and write a little bit more, another idea hits me and I spend a lot of time brainstorming what's going to happen to each of my characters rather than actually writing. That being said, in this fic, they will all be given a sufficient amount of story-time so that you can get to know them on a personal level. As I write, I find myself learning more and more about my characters (not including Akashi; he is not a character of mine, much as I wish he was) and at one point I even decided to change the ending I had planned to better suit the development of one character in particular (I'll give you a hint - she's a little obsessed with our favourite Akashi-san). In another instance, I decided to see what would happen if I allowed two characters who I'd intended never to cross paths to meet, and what resulted was a spark of brilliance that changed the pace and direction of the entire story. This is all a very complicated and interesting process that I love to put myself through. What I want you to take away from this is that the characters in this fanfic are driven by their own values and ideals - each one is as blessedly human as ourselves - and to expect great things from them! In conclusion, I think it's safe to say there is still much left to tell with this story. Update: "All Because of a Bet" is currently undergoing an 'upgrade'. For those who follow this fanfic and have been impatiently waiting, I send my sincere apologies and reassurance that I haven't given up on this story, but am making some improvements to the characters/writing/plot. Please hang in there a little longer! Sweeter Than Sugar: You might actually find this strange, but out of all the characters in the show, I understand and relate to Murasakibara Atsushi the least. I just don't get the lazy, unmotivated purple-haired giant! Oh, well, I can't exactly say unmotivated, because he is motivated by one thing - food! In this story, I decided to use that and play on it. He is exposed to the cooking of our protagonist, Sadie Harper, who is an American living in Japan with her father, brother and step-mother. Our droopy-eyed Mura-kun instantly becomes hooked, and things kick off from there. He develops an addiction to her food, and so she must keep him full with her cooking... Or suffer the consequences! Sae-chan is at the heart of this story; she takes us on her journey of doubt and insecurity and (mostly) self-inflicted suffering. As much as I wish it, I am unfortunately not in control of my OC characters (they like to spring out of my head and do whatever they please, similar to Athena from the head of Zeus) and so I cannot change the way she views herself - which is extremely poorly. This story is one of hurt, torment and failure, but most importantly, courage. And like everything else in life, Sae-chan will face these obstacles head-on, with the (food-motivated) help of Mura-kun and friends. And who knows, along the way, she just might develop feelings for Yosen High's basketball ace... Your Very Worst: It's official; I have made plans to start writing Midorima-kun's fanfic sometime in the near future. This story will take place at the beginning of their second year of high-school and will involve him, as well as another OC character who I believe will really bring out some interesting snippets of Midorima's personality. Midorima is actually my favourite character in the whole show, and I'm very excited to write this fic about him (though not entirely about him). You will hear more on this later on, when I post up the summary and the first few chapters. So keep your eyes peeled, because it will be popping up eventually! For now, here's a small section I've written for the beginning of my story. Hope you enjoy! Prologue Preview: In the last light of this day, beneath the radiant stars which had only just blinked into existence, many wonders are sure to occur. For instance, one elusive wonder may be found under a leaf in a small tree, where a butterfly breathes its first breath of new life; another behind the joy in a little face that has just beheld the sight of a mewling kitten. Others may hide behind masks of punitive indifference; in dark alleyways loathe to prove host to such miracles, a tiny bird fights for life and receives flight, and in the bright streets that hoard less hope than harsh teachings, a tiny hand embraces the coarse, weathered finger of a homeless man. Yes, it was a night for many miracles – but none more so than that which transpires only once every eleven years. This story begins in the blinking, wonder-filled eyes of a small child, inside of which stares the eyes of another, small child. Under the somnolent eye of the Balsamic moon, two tiny beings gaze into each other – seeing, understanding, unearthing boundless mysteries beholden to none but the other. Violet blurs into green while green remains prominent, before succumbing to the lure of the moon’s mystical pull; green immerses amid violet. Hesitantly, almost reverently, they meet. A feather light touch – a whisper of chance – a sealing of destiny. They merge; violet into green, and one after the other, their faces reflect the stars. Once-bitter nemeses shed their inhibitions like armour, and with a small giggle of affirmation from one half of what had become – however briefly – a single whole, fate took a different path, and possibilities stretched out like the endless sea of stars that twinkled overhead with equal merriment. Order regarded the sight before him, frowning in discontent as the two children ran and leapt and learned true happiness, while Anarchy clapped her hands in glee at the sight. On this night, all was not as it should be, but all that could be was seen. Lines were crossed and possibilities were explored and conclusions were dashed like the leaves beneath their feet. It was a night of perfect, wonderful infinities. Nevertheless, it would not last; in the near future inhibitions became leashed, armour was donned, and violet was violet. Words would hamper and eyes would lower and a sneering voice would remind the two of their place in the world. Things would become as they should, and Order sighed once in relief. Yet, for now, the opposites had found an accord, for it is on this day that Cancer and Aries find themselves matched as equals, and the stars smile down on them both. Note: I do not own Kuroko no Basuke, nor any of the characters. Update: I have settled on the story and have begun to write Midorima-kun's fanfic. I'M SO EXCITED! (Fangirl moment). Sorry, but after finishing the first chapter and being totally blown away with how well everything is working already, I'm finding it hard to find my cool... I'm not going to give away too much about this fanfic, but I will give you the basic info. This story will be a Midorima x OC pairing (as is customary for me) but this time I am trying my hand writing Yaoi. Please know that I'm not writing this genre because I think Midorima flies that way or because I'm looking for an excuse to be 'different', as that's not the case. When I picture my OC's involved with the GOM members, I try to envision what kind of people will bring out certain qualities of these original characters that are only imagined or hinted at in the canon, and will develop/connect with their characters even more. For Midorima, I actually tried to envision a female character because I was so used to doing so, but there was something... off about it. They weren't connecting in my head, and it was making me crazy. No way was I going to write a story about my favourite GOM member without giving him an awesome OC! But therein I realised my mistake - I was looking completely from Midorima-kun's perspective, and that was never going to get me anywhere, because I don't think the green-haired shooter knows what he needs himself! (If you actually asked him I think he'd reply with; full grades in every subject, a scholarship to The University of Tokyo... And for you to please go away and stop wasting his time.) So instead, I took a different approach. What kind of person, regardless of gender, would be capable of pushing Midorima to face his own hidden needs and desires? And poof! Instantly, an idea! Or moreover, a character. One who was most definitely not suited to Midorima's own standards and ideals, to an extent that perplexes even me sometimes. In this story, there will be hard times ahead. It is also not for the faint-hearted; it will be rated M due to various features, which include: - Infrequent smut (when I said 'capable of pushing Midorima to face his own hidden needs and desires', I did mean all the way). - Allusions to rape (tragedy aspect of the story; NOT involving Midorima). - Coarse language. - Other disturbing content (eg. attempted suicide; again, NOT involving Midorima). Please note that I always think long and hard before including any disturbing content in my stories. Everything that happens, does so for good reason; whether to prepare for upcoming plot content, or to instil a specific emotion in my readers, it's all (kind of) methodical. Still, I would advise against reading if you are greatly distressed over any of these things. Like I said before, I only write what needs to be written for you to understand my characters and their stories; I'm not in control of censoring or leaving out essential material. It's all for a purpose. But anyway, keep your eyes peeled. I'm super excited!! Other: At this stage, all my attentions are being focused on trying to complete my current projects to keep both myself and my readers happy. I have intentions to create a story for each member of the GOM; this will be a very complicated and slow process, as their is much planning involved, but I would love to take a task like that on. I've even begun to set up specific scenes in my current fanfic in preparation for possible future sequels that may result. So keep your eyes open, another fanfic may just pop up in the near-future involving another awesome member of the GOM... ;) After these projects are complete (which is a long while) or perhaps even during (as sometimes even I need to stretch my legs a little) I might look into working on a Naruto fanfic that I started a while ago. I've got some really interesting ideas there that I'd like to explore in more detail. | |||||||
